Construction Method of Cement Prefabricated Panel Houses
The construction method of cement prefabricated panel houses mainly involves the production, installation of prefabricated panels, and the overall structural assembly of the house, as detailed below:

Production of Prefabricated Panels
- Determine Design Parameters: Based on the intended use of the house, load requirements, and usage environment, specify key parameters such as the thickness of the prefabricated panels, concrete grade, and steel reinforcement layout. For example, floor panels need to withstand the load from human activities, requiring a reasonable design of steel bar spacing and concrete strength grade.
- Calculate Material Quantities: According to the concrete mix ratio, accurately calculate the quantities of cement, crushed stone, and river sand to ensure that the material proportions meet design requirements and avoid strength issues due to improper ratios.
- Prepare Raw Materials: Select standard-compliant cement (such as ordinary Portland cement), well-graded crushed stone (particle size 5-20mm), and river sand (silt content ≤3%). Steel bars should be derusted and straightened to ensure material quality.
- Production Process:
- Mix Concrete: Pour cement, crushed stone, river sand, and water into a mixer in proportion and mix thoroughly until uniform and lump-free.
- Pour and Vibrate: Pour the concrete into molds (hollow models made of wooden planks or plastic molds) and vibrate with a vibrating rod until the surface bleeds and there are no air bubbles, ensuring density.
- Lay Steel Bars: Lay a steel bar mesh on the concrete surface before initial setting. The steel bars should be firmly tied, with spacing in line with design requirements to enhance crack resistance.
- Curing: After initial setting, cover the concrete with plastic film or straw mats and regularly sprinkle water to keep it moist. The curing period should be no less than 7 days to prevent cracking due to excessive exposure to sunlight or rapid drying.
- Remove Molds and Inspect: Remove the molds after the concrete reaches 75% of its design strength. Inspect the appearance (no honeycombs or pits), dimensional deviations (±5mm), and compressive strength (must meet C20-C30 standards).
Installation of Prefabricated Panels
After production in the prefabrication yard, the prefabricated panels are transported to the construction site and installed at predetermined positions using lifting equipment (such as truck cranes). Ensure that the panel joints are aligned and the supports are firm to prevent structural deformation due to improper installation.
Overall House Structure
Prefabricated panel houses use prefabricated panels as the main components, connected by walls (such as brick walls or lightweight partitions) and beams and columns to form an overall structure. However, it should be noted that modern architecture has gradually phased out prefabricated panel structures in favor of frame structures or reinforced concrete structures to enhance seismic performance and overall safety.
