Transportation Methods for Cement Prefabricated Houses

Quản trị 18 tháng 9, 2026

The transportation methods for cement prefabricated houses mainly include two core aspects: systematic preparation before transportation and dynamic control during the transportation process.

Systematic Preparation before Transportation

1. Selection of Transportation Vehicles The transportation vehicle should be selected according to the size and weight of the cement prefabricated house. For example, for a cement house with dimensions of 6 meters × 3.3 meters × 3 meters and a single weight of approximately 18 - 22 tons, a 15-meter-long low-bed semi-trailer (with a rated load capacity of 30 tons) is recommended. The deck height of such a vehicle is only 0.8 meters, which can effectively lower the transportation center of gravity and improve stability. If the size or weight of the house exceeds the normal range, it is necessary to calculate parameters such as the center-of-gravity height and axle load distribution and select larger special transportation vehicles.

2. Reinforcement Plan

  • Bottom Fixation: Prefabricate metal fixing rings at the bottom of the cement house and use high-strength chains to bind them to the recessed anchor points of the semi-trailer. Rubber pads should be placed between the chains and the cement house to prevent structural damage caused by friction during transportation.
  • Lateral Anti-sway: Install adjustable triangular wooden wedges on both sides of the cement house. Fix the wooden wedges to the vehicle deck with steel nails to form lateral supports and prevent the house from swaying left and right when the vehicle turns or encounters bumps.
  • Center-of-gravity Optimization: Adjust the position of the house on the vehicle deck to make the center of gravity as close as possible to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle and reduce the risk of rollover.

3. Exploration of the Transportation Route Conduct on-site inspections of the route in advance and focus on solving the following problems:

  • Turning Radius: Trim the shrubs on the outer side of the curve or lay steel plates to widen the road surface to ensure that the vehicle can pass smoothly.
  • Height Limit Obstacles: Coordinate with the gardening department to temporarily trim the branches or choose an alternative route to avoid low bridges, tunnels, etc.
  • Road Surface Load-bearing Capacity: Reinforce soft soil sections to prevent the vehicle from sinking.

Dynamic Control during the Transportation Process

1. Real-time Monitoring Arrange for a follow-up vehicle operator to carry video monitoring equipment, and transmit the monitoring images to the project command center in real time. At the same time, report the vehicle's position, speed, and status (such as tire pressure and braking system) every 15 minutes to ensure timely response to abnormal situations.

2. Response to Emergencies

  • Abnormal Tire Pressure: If the tire pressure is found to be lower than the standard value, immediately instruct the vehicle to enter a service area for inspection to rule out the risk of air leakage or a tire blowout.
  • Mountain Driving: Strictly limit the vehicle speed to below 30 km/h. When encountering continuous downhill sections, use low-gear engine braking to avoid brake failure caused by prolonged braking.
  • Severe Weather: In case of heavy rain, strong winds, etc., suspend transportation and choose a safe area for parking. Continue the journey after the weather improves.

Through systematic preparation and dynamic control, the safety and efficiency of the transportation of cement prefabricated houses can be guaranteed to the greatest extent.
