Can Mobile Toilets Be Installed by the Seaside?

Quản trị 10 tháng 10, 2026

Mobile toilets can be installed by the seaside.

There is a practical need and feasibility for installing mobile toilets by the seaside. On one hand, public toilets are often sparsely distributed and far away in seaside scenic areas or docks, making it difficult to meet tourists' temporary toilet needs. Mobile toilets, with their flexibility and convenience, can be quickly deployed where needed, effectively solving this problem. For example, seaside scenic areas or docks such as Jinfeng in Fujian and Yingkou Dock have installed mobile toilets, providing convenience for tourists.

However, the seaside environment is special, characterized by high humidity, high salinity, and strong ultraviolet rays, which pose high requirements for the materials and performance of mobile toilets. Ordinary public toilet materials are prone to rusting, aging, and damage in such an environment, affecting their service life and safety. Therefore, mobile toilets used by the seaside need to be made of materials that are corrosion-resistant, salt-fog-resistant, and ultraviolet-resistant, with priority given to public toilets made of stainless steel, fiberglass, and other materials. These materials can better adapt to the seaside environment and extend the service life.

At the same time, proper fixation and protection work is necessary when using mobile toilets by the seaside. Due to the strong winds at the seaside, mobile toilets are easily blown over or shaken by the sea breeze. Therefore, they need to be firmly fixed to the ground using anchor bolts and other fixing devices to ensure their stability. In addition, the surface of the public toilets should be regularly cleaned to remove salt and dust, preventing corrosion and pollution.

Special attention should also be paid to sewage collection and treatment for mobile toilets by the seaside. Sewage collection needs to be properly sealed to prevent sewage leakage from polluting the seawater and beach. At the same time, sewage needs to be regularly removed to ensure the normal use of the public toilets. To reduce water consumption, waterless flushing or circulating water flushing public toilets can also be chosen, which can more effectively utilize water resources and meet environmental protection requirements.
