Caidian Prefabricated Panel Houses

Quản trị 18 tháng 9, 2026

Prefabricated panel houses in Caidian have safety hazards, with no clear renovation plans in some areas, rural houses have inspection and rectification plans, and there have been incidents of prefabricated panel fractures.

I. Some old prefabricated panel houses have prominent safety hazards and no renovation plans for the time being The prefabricated panel houses from the east gate of the river beach to the section near the forging factory and Yujiang Building are mostly over 40 years old, with severely aged electrical wires and water pipes, and a high risk factor, which can be classified as dilapidated houses. As of February 11, 2026, there are no clear plans for demolition, expropriation, or original-site reconstruction in this area, nor have they been included in this year's urban renewal, old residential area renovation, and dilapidated house demolition and reconstruction project lists. This means that in the short term, residents still need to pay attention to the living safety risks of these houses on their own. It is recommended to regularly inspect the house structure, electrical and water lines, etc., and promptly eliminate potential hazards.

II. There are special inspection and rectification plans for rural prefabricated panel houses On December 12, 2020, the Office of the People's Government of Caidian District issued the "Implementation Plan for the Inspection and Rectification of Safety Hazards in Rural Houses in Caidian District." The inspection scope covers all houses in various sub-districts and townships (development zones), the Sino-French Ecological Demonstration City, and the administrative villages under their jurisdiction. Among them, houses built with prefabricated panels are listed as key inspection targets. For rural self-built houses that are initially judged to have safety hazards and are used for business operations, timely safety assessments or house safety appraisals need to be organized, and final inspection results should be formed. This measure aims to systematically identify and eliminate safety risks in rural prefabricated panel houses and protect the lives and property of residents.

III. An incident of prefabricated panel fracture occurred in a house under construction On April 1, 20XX, during the construction of a private house under construction in Dadong Village, Zhashan Street, Caidian District, when it reached the third floor, a prefabricated panel suddenly fractured, resulting in injuries to two construction workers. The cause of the accident may be related to the quality of the prefabricated panel, construction operations, or load design. The house builder, Liu Shengli, said that the 59 prefabricated panels were purchased through an intermediary, Tang, at 86 yuan each, including delivery, and the payment had not been settled. After the accident, "three bosses" came to the site for inspection. This incident reminds that when using prefabricated panels for self-built houses, strict control over material quality is required, regular suppliers should be selected, and professional construction specifications should be followed to avoid safety accidents caused by quality or operational issues.
