Assembled Residential Container House

Quản trị 16 tháng 9, 2026

An assembled residential container house is a habitable or office building transformed from a standard container as its basic module. The following points should be noted regarding its manufacturing, application scenarios, and purchasing considerations:

Manufacturing Process and Core Structure

An assembled residential container house uses a standard container as its base and achieves habitable or office functions through structural modifications. Its manufacturing process includes:

  1. Foundation Construction: First, lay the floor platform and construct the wall frame. The interior of the walls is filled with glass fiber wool to enhance thermal insulation performance. The roof is covered with fiberboard and plastic film, and the edges of the inclined joists are designed to ensure smooth drainage.
  2. Interior Decoration: After completing the floor laying, install wooden panels and wallpaper, and reserve facilities such as power outlets and air conditioning vents to meet basic living or office needs.
  3. Final Assembly and Reinforcement: Vertically lift the walls and fix them onto the floor, reinforce the connections with steel nails, cover the exterior with stainless steel inlay panels, and install prefabricated doors and windows to form a complete enclosed space.

Application Scenarios and Testing Standards

Different scenarios have significantly varying performance requirements for assembled container houses, necessitating targeted selections:

  • Temporary Office and Accommodation in Engineering Camps:
    • Core Requirements: Rapid installation, structural stability, and high cost-effectiveness.
    • Testing Standards: Installation time is calculated based on the total duration from the entry of a single module to its commissioning. Wind resistance must be verified through an 8-level wind test report issued by a third party to ensure structural safety in severe weather conditions.
  • Commercial Temporary Spaces (e.g., Pop-up Shops, Exhibition Booths):
    • Core Requirements: Flexible layout, customizable appearance, and high reusability.
    • Testing Standards: Customization level is assessed based on the range of appearance adjustments and internal layout modifications provided by the manufacturer. Reusability is evaluated based on the intact rate of modules after disassembly and the convenience of reassembly, reducing long-term usage costs.

Purchasing Risks and Considerations

There are some unbranded products produced by small workshops on the market. Although they are inexpensive, they have serious quality issues:

  • Material Substitution: Thin steel sheets are used instead of thick steel, resulting in insufficient structural strength. The wind resistance cannot even withstand 5-level winds, making them prone to deformation and damage in strong winds.
  • Inefficient Installation: Additional welding reinforcement is required, prolonging installation time and increasing labor costs.
  • High Long-term Costs: Frequent rework and maintenance result in comprehensive costs that may exceed the price of regular products.
Recommendation: Prioritize products from regular manufacturers that have passed 8-level wind tests, offer complete customization services, and have reusable modules to ensure a balance between safety and cost-effectiveness.
