Temporary Mobile Toilets in Zhengyang County

Admin 11 de octubre de 2026

The following is information about temporary mobile toilets in Zhengyang County:

I. Situation of the Emergency Mobile Toilet Procurement Project The Urban Management Bureau of Zhengyang County once launched an emergency mobile toilet procurement project with a budget (ceiling price) of 360,000 yuan. The procurement requirement was clearly to add 18 mobile public toilets in the new square, with specific configurations including 16 squatting positions and 2 management rooms. This project aimed to alleviate the pressure of using toilets in public areas by adding temporary facilities. However, due to the fact that the number of qualified suppliers who submitted bids before the bid submission deadline specified in the bidding documents was less than three, the project ultimately ended in a failed bid. This result may be influenced by factors such as suppliers' willingness to participate, project conditions, or the market environment, and it is necessary to reorganize the bidding or adjust the procurement plan in the future.

II. Quantity and Distribution of Existing Mobile Public Toilets As of now, there are a total of 47 public toilets in Zhengyang County, including 6 mobile public toilets and 41 fixed public toilets. This configuration has basically met the daily living needs of county residents. However, the proportion of mobile public toilets is relatively low, and they mainly serve areas with a high density of temporary and mobile populations, such as squares and event venues. The flexibility of mobile public toilets makes them an important supplement to fixed public toilets, especially when dealing with sudden demands or short-term events.

III. Future Public Toilet Construction Plan To further improve public service levels, the Urban Management Bureau of Zhengyang County actively applied for central budgetary funds and special bonds in 2021 and planned to build 12 new public toilets. As of now, the construction bidding and preliminary preparations for 5 public toilets have been completed, and the remaining 7 will be gradually promoted according to the availability of funds and the construction progress. The newly built public toilets may include both fixed and mobile types, and the specific site selection and configuration need to be comprehensively determined based on population density, regional functions, and actual needs.

IV. Applicable Scenarios for Temporary Mobile Toilets Temporary mobile toilets are usually used in the following scenarios: First, during large-scale events or festivals, such as square performances and gatherings, they can be quickly deployed to cope with a surge in pedestrian traffic. Second, in areas where fixed public toilets are insufficient, such as newly built communities and construction sites, they serve as transitional facilities. Third, after natural disasters or emergencies, they provide emergency sanitation guarantees for affected areas. Their core advantages lie in easy installation and strong mobility, but regular maintenance is required to ensure sanitary conditions.
