Zhejiang Mobile Smart Toilet Technology
Zhejiang Mobile Smart Toilet Technology encompasses multiple aspects, including structural and functional module design, environmental protection technologies, decentralized wastewater treatment technologies, and smart management technologies.

In terms of structural and functional module design, the internal structure is compact, fully considering ease of use and basic comfort. The standard unit includes a toilet area equipped with water-saving toilets and paper towel holders; a handwashing and cleaning area with an integrated small sink, equipped with a water-saving faucet, and independent collection of wastewater; a ventilation and lighting system with ventilation windows or forced exhaust systems, and translucent panels on the top or sides; and a waste treatment system with various options such as circulating water flushing, waterless packaging, and biodegradation, which can be flexibly selected based on the usage environment.
Regarding environmental protection technologies, firstly, waterless or water-saving technologies are employed. For example, waterless toilet systems use biodegradable films to wrap waste or vacuum suction technology, and some are equipped with micro-water flushing devices, consuming far less water than traditional water-flushing toilets. Secondly, waste treatment and resource utilization are carried out. Microbial agents are used to decompose excreta into harmless organic matter or fertilizer. Through safe chemical disinfection and decomposition, liquids and solids are separated and treated separately, with solids composted and liquids filtered and purified for discharge or non-potable use. Waste can also be automatically sealed and packaged for subsequent centralized treatment. Thirdly, energy supply often includes solar photovoltaic panels, utilizing solar energy to power lighting, ventilation, and control systems, reducing reliance on the power grid.
The decentralized wastewater treatment technology is jointly developed by Wenzhou University in collaboration with multiple research institutes and enterprises. Its modular design allows for flexible combination, and an intelligent control system ensures stable water quality and compliance with standards, enabling on-site purification and resource utilization of wastewater. It is suitable for scenarios with weak pipeline coverage, such as rural areas, scenic spots, and protected areas. For example, in the Ximen Island scenic area of Yandang Mountain in Wenzhou, after the application of this technology in mobile toilets, the treated clear water is directly used for greening irrigation or safe discharge, solving the problem of wastewater collection and transportation.
In terms of smart management technologies, some products are equipped with IoT management systems. For instance, the flagship product of Jiangsu Huajie Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. supports remote monitoring of toilet occupancy status, equipment operating parameters, and consumable levels, with a data transmission delay of ≤3 seconds.
