Mobile Toilets in Yueyang County
Yueyang County has various initiatives regarding mobile toilets, including new construction plans, rental services, and pilot projects for toilets without sewer networks.

New Construction Plan for Mobile Toilets in Xinqianghe Park
After the official opening of Xinqianghe Park (Labor Theme Park) on September 25, 2024, the surge in visitor numbers led to a lack of public toilets, triggering complaints from citizens. The Yueyang County Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau attached great importance to this issue and planned to build an integrated mobile public toilet. Currently, the toilet's construction design has been completed, and financial reviews are underway. Construction is expected to commence in the third quarter of 2025. This measure will effectively address the toilet needs of visitors to Xinqianghe Park, enhancing the park's service quality and visitor experience.
Mobile Toilet Rental Services
Yueyang is home to numerous merchants offering mobile toilet rental services tailored for outdoor events, construction sites, and temporary needs. The rented mobile toilets feature high-quality, easy-to-clean facilities and come in various models, ranging from basic to luxury configurations, to meet the demands of different scenarios. Merchants provide one-stop solutions, including rapid installation, regular maintenance, and hassle-free removal, with flexible rental periods and transparent service processes. In terms of product functionality, these toilets are equipped with independent flushing systems, odor-proof floor drains, and ventilation devices. They have spacious interiors with handrails and non-slip floors, are made of eco-friendly materials, are lightweight and easy to transport, and feature modular designs that allow for flexible combinations. Additionally, professional teams are responsible for transportation, installation, and post-maintenance.
Pilot Project for Toilets Without Sewer Networks
In 2025, Qingshui Village in Xinqiang Town, Yueyang County, became a pilot village for household toilets without sewer networks in Yueyang City, with 50 households being the first to use these new toilets. These toilets do not require the installation of sewer networks or frequent cleaning, and the wastewater can be reused. Construction teams buried biological treatment equipment at the corner of the exterior walls of houses, with toilet wastewater directly connected to the equipment. Microorganisms in the equipment can decompose feces and impurities in the wastewater, and the treated water is then discharged after electrochemical treatment to meet standards. Some households have also installed wastewater reuse pipelines to recycle the treated water, reducing tap water consumption and lowering wastewater discharge volumes.
