How to Install Mobile Toilets in Yueyang

Admin 28 de septiembre de 2026

The installation of mobile toilets in Yueyang should follow the steps below, with specific operations adjusted according to the sewage discharge method and manufacturer's instructions:

1. Determine the Sewage Discharge Method Select an appropriate sewage discharge mode based on the type of mobile toilet:

  • Packing or Microbial Degradation Type: No need to connect to the sewer pipe. It can be directly moved to the designated location for use, but the feces storage container needs to be regularly cleaned or the microbial degradation system needs to be maintained.
  • Water-flush Type: Plan the sewage discharge pipe in advance to ensure it connects to the municipal sewer network or an independent septic tank and complies with local sewage discharge standards. If there is no existing pipe on the site, a trench needs to be excavated and a sewage discharge pipe that meets the slope requirements (usually a slope of ≥ 2%) needs to be laid.

2. Site Assessment and Preparation

  • Basic Condition Detection: Use a level to measure the ground flatness, with an error controlled within ±5mm. Confirm the load-bearing capacity through soil testing or consulting a geological report. If the soil is soft (such as backfill or mucky soil), a C20 concrete foundation (with a thickness of ≥ 15cm) needs to be poured to distribute the load.
  • Space and Pipeline Inspection: Reserve a passage at least 1.5 meters wide for maintenance. Use an underground pipeline detector to check whether there are gas, water, electricity, and other pipelines on the site to avoid construction damage. Clean up debris at the entrance of the sewage discharge pipe to ensure smooth flow.

3. Positioning and Fixing of the Main Structure

  • Types without Sewage Discharge Pipe Connection: Hoist the box to a prefabricated foundation or adjustable legs, fix it to the foundation with bolts of M12 or above, or use welding to enhance stability. The legs need to be adjusted to the same horizontal plane to prevent the box from tilting.
  • Types Requiring Sewage Discharge Pipe Connection: First, lay the sewage discharge pipe and seal the interface (it is recommended to use rubber sealing rings or hot-melt connections), and then position the box. The pipe slope needs to meet the requirements of fluid dynamics (such as a slope of ≥ 1.5% for fecal sewage) to avoid blockage.
  • Frame Assembly: Install in the order of base → wall panels → upper slots → top cover. Use a torque wrench to tighten the screws (refer to the manufacturer's instructions for the torque value). Pay special attention to checking the sealing of the connections such as door frames and window frames to prevent leakage.

4. Connection and Inspection of Functional Systems

  • Water Supply Pipeline: Install PPR pipes or galvanized steel pipes. In northern regions, wrap them with rubber-plastic insulation materials for frost protection. Install a pressure-reducing valve at the end (the outlet pressure should be ≤ 0.3MPa) to protect the flushing equipment.
  • Electrical Circuit: Use BV wires or YJV cables. The wires should be protected by metal pipes and reliably grounded. Waterproof switches (with a protection level of ≥ IP44) should be installed for lighting, exhaust fans, and other equipment.
  • Ventilation System: Connect the exhaust fan to the ventilation pipe. The radius of the curved part of the pipe should be ≥ 1.5 times the pipe diameter to reduce wind resistance. Install a rain cap at the top air outlet.
  • Wastewater Treatment Unit (if any): Debug the biochemical filtration device (such as adding activated sludge) or the physical filtration system (such as replacing the filter element) to ensure that the effluent water quality meets the standards.

5. Detail Handling and Finalization

  • Cleaning and Fastening: Wipe the inner and outer walls with a neutral detergent to remove construction residues. Recheck all bolts and nuts, and use anti-loosening washers or apply thread-locking adhesive to prevent loosening.
  • Installation of Ancillary Facilities: Reinforce internal structures such as handrails and storage racks (with a load-bearing capacity of ≥ 100kg). Lay anti-slip floor tiles or floor rubber. Set up a ramp (with a slope of ≤ 1:12) at the entrance and post warning signs.

6. Commissioning and Acceptance

  • Structural Inspection: Confirm that the box is not deformed, the pipes are not leaking, and the circuits are not short-circuited.
  • Functional Test: Simulate the usage scenario, test functions such as flushing, lighting, ventilation, and deodorization, and deliver the toilet for use after continuous operation for more than 2 hours without any faults.

Tip: Products from different manufacturers may have structural differences (such as modular splicing methods and intelligent control systems). Be sure to read the Product Installation Manual and contact the manufacturer's technical support before installation.
