Prefabricated Panel Houses in Yinzhou District
Whether the prefabricated panel houses in Yinzhou District will be demolished depends on the danger level of the houses and specific regional policies. Some D-grade dilapidated houses will be directly demolished, while C-grade dilapidated houses may be handled through renovation or demolition. Some areas currently have no relevant plans.

According to Ningbo's new policy on the renovation of dilapidated houses, the handling method for prefabricated panel houses in Yinzhou District is directly related to the danger level of the houses. D-grade dilapidated houses (overall dangerous and requiring immediate demolition) will no longer be reinforced and renovated but will be directly demolished. For example, in Fenghuang Xincun, Zhonghe, Yinzhou, there was an incident where the cement wall of a prefabricated dilapidated house fell off and hit a vehicle. If such houses are identified as D-grade, they will face mandatory demolition. This policy means that among the large number of existing prefabricated old houses in Ningbo, those that meet the D-grade standard will be prioritized for demolition.
The handling method for C-grade dilapidated houses (partially dangerous and can be repaired through renovation) is more flexible. This year, Yinzhou District plans to complete the inspection of 500 old residential buildings. If a prefabricated panel house is identified as C-grade, it can be renovated through reinforcement, reconstruction, or rebuilding. If, after renovation, it still fails to meet safety standards or meets urban planning requirements, it may also face demolition. For example, during the renovation of some old residential areas, if residents agree and funds are available, demolition may be achieved through methods such as "demolition and reconstruction on the original site" or "relocation and resettlement."
Some areas currently have no plans for demolition or renovation. Areas such as Shishannong Village in Wuxiang Town, the southern area of Qing'an Community (Yinxing Lane Community), the area around Zhonggongmiao Vegetable Market, and Qilidian Xincun in Yinzhou District are currently not included in the scope of demolition or renovation. The prefabricated panel houses in these areas may continue to be retained if there are no serious safety hazards, but they need to undergo regular safety inspections.
It should be noted that the demolition or renovation of houses requires processes such as professional institution identification, government approval, and resident consultation. The specific implementation time is subject to official announcements. Residents can inquire about house identification results and policy updates through communities or housing and construction departments to avoid affecting their rights and interests due to outdated information.
