Yingtan Prefabricated Housing
Yingtan prefabricated housing mainly includes three types: movable plank houses, container houses, and packing-box houses.

Movable plank houses are assembled using prefabricated components. The main structure consists of a light steel frame and sandwich panels, with the sandwich panels filled with insulation materials and covered with a protective layer. Their core advantage lies in modular design. Standard components are produced in the factory and then transported to the site for rapid assembly, offering high flexibility and the ability to be quickly disassembled and reassembled. They have a short construction period, low cost, good thermal insulation performance, recyclable materials, and a small environmental impact. In Yingtan, movable plank houses are widely used in construction sites (temporary dormitories or office spaces), the agricultural sector (storage or processing points), the tourism industry (temporary reception facilities), and emergency relocation scenarios (emergency disaster relief). The construction process includes site leveling and reinforcement, foundation construction (concrete or steel frame support), main structure installation, wall and roof panel fixation, interior decoration (electrical circuits, water pipes, and interior finishes), and acceptance testing and commissioning.
Container houses are based on standardized shipping containers and are transformed and combined to provide architectural functions. Their core advantage is modular construction. Each container serves as an independent prefabricated unit that can be combined like building blocks, reducing on-site wet work, resulting in a short construction period and environmental friendliness. In Yingtan, innovative applications of container houses include transforming them into characteristic homestays by lakesides or in mountainous areas, achieving comfortable living through cutting, reinforcement, and thermal insulation treatments; creating commercial districts, pop-up stores, or community service stations to supplement public facilities; and serving as office spaces in industrial parks, field workstations, or event service centers, providing standardized rapid deployment solutions.
The core components of packing-box houses are factory-prefabricated standardized box modules that integrate structural, thermal insulation, electrical, and interior decoration foundations. Their convenience is reflected in: an extremely short construction period (the main structure of a moderately sized project can be completed within a few days), with on-site work mainly consisting of foundation treatment and box module assembly, less affected by natural factors, and with controllable quality; a simple installation process with standardized interfaces that reduce reliance on skilled workers; and flexible movement and reassembly, allowing for disassembly, transportation, and reuse to avoid resource waste. Their efficiency is demonstrated by: being equipped with lighting, air conditioning, fire protection, and network systems internally, with integrated thermal insulation materials in the walls and optimized lighting and ventilation through windows; and the ability to quickly adapt to various short-term space needs such as temporary offices, construction site camps, school classrooms, and tourism homestays through the combination of multiple box modules. In Yingtan, packing-box houses are commonly used in living camps at construction sites of infrastructure projects, reception facilities during peak tourist seasons in scenic spots, and temporary exhibition halls for large-scale events.
