Yiju Container House
The installation technical requirements for container houses cover multiple aspects such as structural load-bearing, fire prevention and corrosion resistance, spatial combination, and material selection.

In terms of structural load-bearing and construction: Container houses typically adopt a pure steel frame load-bearing system, where wall panels, roof panels, and glass components do not bear loads. The load transfer path is 'panel secondary beams → main beams → corner columns → corner fittings → foundation/lower container'. Corner fittings are the only stacking load transfer points, and it is essential to ensure that corner fittings are intact and reliable, and spot welding cannot be used as a substitute for standard connection methods. Steel selection must comply with specifications. For container bodies, welding weather-resistant steel (GB/T 4171) should be used, while non-container body components can choose Q235B or Q345B (GB/T 700, GB/T 1591). If large openings are required to weaken structural stiffness, a staggered and symmetrical arrangement of perforated and non-perforated containers should be adopted. The overhang length should not be too large, and no openings are allowed in the overhang section. When stacking multiple layers of containers, corner fittings and corner columns must be aligned vertically and locked tightly, and lateral force-resisting members need to be symmetrical in plan and uniform in vertical stiffness.
Regarding fire prevention and corrosion resistance: Enclosure filling materials must not use flammable core materials such as EPS. For crowded places, A-grade rock wool or glass wool should be used, and the fire resistance limit must comply with the GB50016 standard (commonly required to be ≥0.5 hours, with stricter requirements for high-rise modules). Steel structures need to be coated with fire-resistant paint and equipped with floor fire separations, escape routes (with a clear width of ≥0.9 meters), fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, and emergency lighting facilities.
In terms of spatial combination forms: Container houses can be combined in various ways, such as single-container landing (e.g., kiosks, sentry boxes), horizontal container assembly (打通做会议室、展厅, i.e.,打通 for creating conference rooms or exhibition halls by connecting horizontally), vertical container stacking (6-story dormitories, hotels), or staggered/overhanging/L-shaped/U-shaped enclosures (for trendy guesthouses, cafes). However, overhanging structures require diagonal bracing, and no openings are allowed in the overhang section.
Regarding materials and mobility: The commonly used material is steel. Although aluminum alloy is lighter, its cost is higher. For composite sandwich panel containers, it is necessary to ensure the fire resistance performance of the core material. According to mobility requirements, fixed (hoisting), towed mobile, or folding and transportable types can be selected.
