Yichang Park Mobile Toilets

Admin 21 de septiembre de 2026

Yichang has installed various types of mobile public toilets in parks and other venues. As of early September, there are 18 such toilets across the city, with a total of 95 toilet stalls, ensuring that each county, city, and district has at least one.

Types and Characteristics of Mobile Toilets

  • Bus-style Mobile Toilets: These are highly integrated, aesthetically pleasing, comfortable, and easy to move, with a large number of toilet stalls. Taking the newly purchased ones in Zhijiang City as an example, their appearance is similar to that of ordinary buses, and they are fully equipped with facilities such as sinks, mirrors, hand dryers, hand soap, and toilet paper. The carriage is divided into men's and women's toilets on both sides. The men's toilet has 3 independent stalls and 3 urinals, while the women's toilet has 4 independent stalls, allowing up to 10 people to use the facilities simultaneously. They are also equipped with air conditioning, fresh air systems, and other convenient facilities.
  • Other Types of Mobile Toilets: Yichang also has various other types of mobile toilets, such as truck-style, trailer-style, and hook-arm-style toilets, which differ in appearance and configuration. However, their toilet experiences are far superior to those of single-unit mobile toilets.

Common Advantages of Mobile Toilets

These mobile toilets are characterized by safety, environmental friendliness, aesthetics, practicality, convenience, and comfort. Each toilet has at least 4 stalls, effectively meeting the toilet needs of citizens and tourists.

Hygiene Assurance and Management Mechanism

Each mobile toilet is staffed with a dedicated cleaner responsible for maintaining its internal and external cleanliness, ensuring a clean and tidy toilet environment for users. The Environmental Sanitation Department of the Yichang Urban Management Committee has established a city-wide unified allocation mechanism for mobile toilets. Based on the locations of large-scale events and pedestrian traffic, mobile toilets in surrounding areas are allocated nearby and precisely. Different urban areas, as well as urban areas and counties/cities, can support and complement each other, maximizing the efficiency of mobile toilets, improving resource utilization, and better serving citizens and tourists.
