Yangxi Public Mobile Toilet Specifications
Admin 28 de septiembre de 2026
The specifications of public mobile toilets in Yangxi are divided into the following types based on usage scenarios and functional requirements, with specific parameters as follows:

1. Single-Toilet Mobile Public Toilets
Suitable for construction sites, small events, and other scenarios, meeting basic needs with a compact design.
- Floor Area: Approximately 1.2㎡ to 1.8㎡, with internal clear dimensions of length 1.2m to 1.5m × width 1.0m to 1.2m, and height 2.2m to 2.5m.
- Design Considerations: The toilet width should be ≥0.9 meters (in line with ergonomics), and the sink height is recommended to be 0.8 to 0.9 meters; materials are mostly lightweight, high-strength composites (such as fiberglass) for easy transportation; a drainage system should be designed at the bottom, and waterproof materials should be used for the walls to cope with outdoor environments.
2. Multi-Toilet Mobile Public Toilets
Suitable for large events, tourist attractions, and other scenarios, expanding capacity through modular combinations.
- Double-Toilet Units: Occupying an area of approximately 3㎡ to 4㎡; for three or more toilet units, additional area is required, with each additional toilet adding approximately 1.5㎡ to 2㎡, and the overall length ranging from 3m to 6m, and width from 1.5m to 2.5m.
- Design Considerations: The toilet layout should optimize space utilization while ensuring ventilation and lighting; material and drainage system requirements are the same as those for single-toilet units, and they should comply with the environmental protection and hygiene regulations of the "Urban Public Toilet Design Standard" (CJJ 14-2016).
3. Special Functional Areas
Designed to meet the needs of specific groups, complying with accessibility and multifunctional usage standards.
- Accessible Toilet Units: Internal clear dimensions should be ≥1.8m × 1.4m, with an accessible ramp at the entrance ≥0.8m wide, and reserved space for wheelchair rotation inside the toilet; the floor should be non-slip, and auxiliary facilities such as handrails should comply with accessible design specifications.
- Baby Care Rooms/Third Toilets: With an area of ≥4㎡ and a clear width of ≥1.5m; they should be equipped with facilities such as baby changing tables, child-sized toilets, and safety seats, with operating space meeting the needs of simultaneous use by adults and children.
4. General Design Specifications
All types of mobile toilets should adhere to the following principles:
- Materials and Structure: Use lightweight, high-strength materials (such as fiberglass, aluminum alloy) to reduce weight for easy lifting and transportation; the structure should be sturdy, with wind resistance ratings meeting local climate requirements.
- Environmental Protection and Hygiene: The bottom drainage system should be connected to the municipal sewer network or equipped with a septic tank; wall and floor materials should be waterproof, stain-resistant, and easy to clean; some areas may require the installation of sewage treatment devices or water-saving flushing equipment.
- Compliance: Design should comply with national standards and local supplementary regulations, such as additional requirements in some areas for toilet dimensions and environmental performance (e.g., noise and odor control).
