Yan'an Mobile Toilet Project

Admin 22 de septiembre de 2026

The Yan'an Mobile Toilet Project advances through multi-dimensional efforts in government planning, corporate services, and technological management, forming a solution that covers public areas, event scenarios, and special needs.

I. Government Planning and Implementation: Focusing on Public Area Needs
Under the framework of the "Toilet Revolution," the Yan'an City Administration and Law Enforcement Bureau has prioritized the construction of public toilets in the new district, completing the construction of 42 fixed public toilets. It has also proposed targeted solutions for densely populated areas such as around schools. For example, plans are in place to add mobile toilets near the environmental sanitation rest area southwest of the First Middle School in the new district, alleviating toilet access issues for students and parents through temporary layouts. Such planning reflects a combined "fixed + mobile" model that ensures long-term needs while flexibly addressing short-term pedestrian flow pressures, leaving room for subsequent solution optimization.

II. Corporate Services and Products: Providing Diversified Solutions
Local companies meet differentiated needs through rental and customization services:

  • Chengxu Mobile Toilet Rental Company: Advocates the "Toilet Revolution" concept, offering rental and sales services for mobile and ecological public toilets, covering large-scale event scenarios such as marathons and concerts. Its products emphasize rapid deployment and environmental protection features, such as water-saving technologies or biodegradable treatment, reducing environmental impact.
  • Cangzhou Hengtai Sanitation Equipment Co., Ltd.: Specializes in the custom processing of simple environmental toilets and prefabricated public toilets, with products featuring core advantages of "small footprint and high mobility," suitable for temporary or space-constrained scenarios such as construction sites and scenic spots. These products enable rapid installation and relocation through modular design, reducing long-term construction costs.

III. Technology and Management Models: Enhancing Operational Efficiency
Since 2017, Baota District has implemented "market-oriented operations and contract-based management," optimizing public toilet maintenance by introducing social capital. Specific measures include:

  • Smart Management: Developing a "Smart Public Toilet Map" for precise location and navigation of public toilets, facilitating quick access for citizens.
  • Refined Maintenance: Establishing a four-level toilet supervisor system (e.g., municipal, district, street, and community-level responsible persons) and a "seven-step operation method" (covering cleaning, disinfection, equipment inspection, etc.), clarifying maintenance standards and responsibilities, improving sanitation levels and equipment lifespan.

The Yan'an Mobile Toilet Project has constructed a public health service system covering multiple scenarios through government-led planning, flexible corporate services, and technological management innovations. It not only addresses issues of rigid traditional public toilet layouts and inadequate maintenance but also provides a replicable "Toilet Revolution" practice model for other regions.
