Types of Mobile Toilets in Xinjiang

Admin 21 de septiembre de 2026

The main types of mobile toilets in Xinjiang include modular box-type, single-person single-room type, multi-person type, and corrugated board type based on structural design, as well as eco-friendly toilets, park toilets, and toilet renovation toilets based on usage.

From the perspective of structural design, outdoor mobile restrooms with modular box designs are one of the common types in Xinjiang. They adopt standardized box structures, enabling quick installation and disassembly through assembly, suitable for temporary events, construction sites, and other scenarios. The box materials are usually high-strength metals or composite materials, providing wind, rain, and corrosion resistance. Internally, they are equipped with independent squat toilets, sinks, and ventilation systems. Some high-end models also integrate solar power supply or sewage treatment devices to meet long-term outdoor usage needs.

Single-person single-room mobile toilets are designed with independent spaces as the core. Each room has an area of approximately 1.5-2 square meters and is internally equipped with a squat toilet, flushing device, and lighting system, with a door lock to ensure privacy. These toilets are compact and mobile, often used in tourist attractions, streets, and other areas with high pedestrian traffic. They can be used individually or combined into temporary toilet clusters.

Multi-person mobile toilets enhance usage efficiency through shared spaces, with a typical layout of 2-4 squat positions sharing one sink area, suitable for high-traffic scenarios such as sports events and gatherings. Their structures use lightweight frames and waterproof panels, with rollers or lifting structures at the bottom for easy and rapid transportation and deployment.

Corrugated board mobile toilets use corrugated steel plates as the outer shell material, forming a wavy surface through bending processes to enhance structural strength and impact resistance. These toilets are lightweight and cost-effective, with internal configurations similar to single-person single-room types. However, the corrugated design of the outer shell effectively disperses external forces, extending service life, and are commonly found in remote areas or temporary demand scenarios.

Based on usage, eco-friendly toilets emphasize resource recycling, using technologies such as microbial degradation and foam sealing to reduce flushing volumes or even achieve zero discharge, suitable for ecologically sensitive areas or regions with water scarcity. Park toilets focus on blending with the landscape, with exterior designs often using imitation wood or stone materials, and internally adding barrier-free facilities and child-specific positions to enhance usage comfort. Toilet renovation toilets target the upgrading needs of old public toilets, replacing original structures with modular components to shorten construction periods and reduce impacts on the surrounding environment, commonly seen in urban renewal projects.
