Xinjiang Marathon Portable Toilets

Admin 17 de octubre de 2026

The Xinjiang Urumqi Marathon has arranged portable single-unit toilets along the racecourse to meet the toilet needs of participants and spectators. Here are the details:

Quantity and Distribution: The event plans to deploy 485 portable single-unit toilets distributed across 19 fixed locations. Taking the Tianshan District section of the 2025 Urumqi Marathon as an example, there are 8 locations with a total of 28 toilets along Guangming Road, and 5 locations with a total of 12 toilets along Xinmin Road. This distribution design aims to ensure that participants and spectators can easily and quickly find toilet facilities during the event, reducing time wastage and physical exertion caused by searching for toilets.

Opening Hours: Some of the portable toilets are open from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM, a time frame that essentially covers the main activities of the marathon, including participant preparation, start, race, and spectator viewing, ensuring that toilet needs are met during the event.

Cleaning Arrangements: To maintain the cleanliness of the toilets, the event organizers have arranged for 29 cleaning staff to carry out continuous sanitation work. Each toilet has two cleaning staff assigned to it, who conduct patrol cleaning every half hour to ensure that the toilets are clean and tidy, providing a comfortable toilet environment for participants and spectators.

Other Support: In addition to the portable single-unit toilets, there are also 28 sanitation toilets available along the marathon route. The opening hours of the toilets near the start and finish lines have been advanced from 8:00 AM to before 5:30 AM, and the opening hours of toilets in other areas have also been adjusted according to actual conditions. Furthermore, the event organizers have carried out special support work for 3 toilets along the racecourse, comprehensively inspecting power and water supply conditions, and promptly repairing any issues found. At the same time, toilet paper, hand soap, and other items are provided free of charge in the toilets, and the quantities are replenished as needed to meet the needs of participants and spectators.
