Wu Xie's Container House Transformation

The structure of Wu Xie's container house is as follows: The first floor is a red container serving as the entrance hall, the second floor is a white container used as a study, and the third floor is a blue container functioning as a bedroom. On the left, it is connected to an ordinary house serving as the living room and kitchen.

Design Features of Each Area of the House

• Entrance Hall: It has a relatively small space. On the left side upon entering, there is a simple sofa and a table lamp placed against the wall, and on the right side is the staircase. The bright red color gives a welcoming feeling to guests and connects the study with the living room.
• Study: Located above the staircase in the entrance hall, with a door on the left leading to the living room. Near the staircase, there are shelves mounted on the wall. To the right is Wu Xie's desk, on which books such as 'Ancient Chinese Dictionary' and 'Chinese Ancient Towns and Villages Tour' are placed. Further to the right are bookshelves and a balcony, with a recliner and a round movable coffee table by the balcony.
• Living Room: An ordinary room extending from the study, featuring white floor-to-ceiling windows, an old-fashioned nine-grid cabinet, and an old wooden sofa. There is a carved ancient figurine in the right corner of the wall, and the overall style fits the artistic conception of antique trading.
• Kitchen: Connected to the living room, it uses the staircase to connect to the third-floor blue container bedroom. The blue and white background wall has a Mediterranean style.
• Bedroom: There are no physical partitions between the two bedrooms. The pure blue room is filled with a Mediterranean ambiance. Wu Xie once stayed up late here to study silk manuscripts.
