Where is the Floor Mobile Toilet

Admin 12 de octubre de 2026

The term 'floor mobile toilet' is not a standard one, and its meaning needs to be determined based on specific scenarios. It mainly falls into two categories: toilet relocation in home bathrooms and public mobile toilets, as detailed below:

I. Toilet Relocation in Home Bathrooms (Adjusting the position on the same floor or across floors)

If the question refers to moving the toilet position during home renovation, the plan should be selected according to the type of drainage system:

  1. Same-floor drainage (sunken bathroom)
In this type of bathroom, there is a sunken space on the floor (about 30-40 centimeters). The drainage pipes are laid directly on this floor, allowing the toilet position to be freely adjusted. During construction, ensure that the pipe slope is reasonable (usually 2%-3%) to avoid water accumulation. At the same time, carry out proper waterproofing, especially at the joint between the pipes and the floor. Apply waterproof coating and conduct a closed-water test (lasting 24-48 hours) to prevent leakage.

  2. Inter-floor drainage (traditional bathroom)
The drainage pipes pass through the floor slab and extend downstairs. Toilet relocation requires coordination with the downstairs neighbors:

    • Using a toilet offset connector: Suitable for short-distance relocation (no more than 40-50 centimeters), it achieves position adjustment by lengthening the drainage pipe. However, the offset connector will change the pipe direction, increasing the risk of blockage. Strictly control the slope and regularly clear the pipes.
    • Raising the floor: If the relocation distance is long, the drainage pipes can be re-laid by raising the bathroom floor (about 10-15 centimeters) to ensure the slope meets the requirements. This method requires attention to the impact of the floor height difference on other areas, such as the height of door frames and the treatment of door sills.
    • Creating a new hole for relocation: Make a hole in the downstairs ceiling and extend the drainage pipes directly to the new position. This plan requires the consent of the downstairs neighbors, and the ceiling needs to be repaired after construction. It may involve neighbor disputes, so it should be chosen with caution.

Compliance reminder: Toilet relocation must comply with the 'Code for Construction of Residential Decoration and Renovation Projects' (GB 50327-2001). It is strictly prohibited to move the bathroom to sensitive areas such as the downstairs kitchen or bedroom. For example, in Hangzhou, there was a case where a toilet was moved directly above the downstairs kitchen, and the court ordered it to be restored to its original state on the grounds of 'violating public order and good customs'.

II. Public Mobile Toilets (Temporary facilities that can be moved as a whole)

If the question refers to mobile toilets in public places, they have nothing to do with fixed bathrooms on floors. They are usually independent units composed of a feces storage tank, walls, and moving devices (such as wheels or lifting structures). They are commonly seen in stations, docks, construction sites, outdoor events, and other scenarios. These toilets can be used by regularly removing the feces storage tank or connecting to the municipal sewage pipes, without the need for fixed installation.

Suggestion: For toilet relocation in homes, it is advisable to consult a professional renovation team first to ensure that the plan is compliant and the construction is standardized. For the location selection of public mobile toilets, it should comply with urban management regulations to avoid occupying fire exits or affecting public order.
