Wardrobe Mobile Toilet

Admin 20 de septiembre de 2026

"Wardrobe mobile toilet" is not a standard decoration term, but there is a similar design concept that mainly achieves functional integration by combining the space of a wardrobe and a toilet. Common forms include space-superimposed design and renovated mobile toilets.

Space-Superimposed Design

This type of design is commonly seen in small-sized residential units, with the core idea of improving space utilization through space superposition. Specifically, in a bedroom, part of the toilet aisle and the wardrobe area are overlapped to form a double-door structure: the outer layer is the wardrobe door, and the inner layer is the toilet door. The toilet is usually equipped with a toilet bowl and a sink (0.5 bathroom), and a few cases may add a shower function. To save space, some designs use sliding or folding doors. Inside, facilities such as electrical outlets, water inlets and outlets, and exhaust fans need to be planned in advance. The floor is paved with easy-to-clean tiles, and the aisle and the bedroom area are distinguished by materials (such as tiles and wooden floors). This type of design must strictly comply with building codes to ensure reasonable ventilation and drainage systems and prevent damage to the wardrobe structure caused by a humid environment.

Renovated Mobile Toilet

In a very small number of cases, functional conversion is achieved by renovating an idle wardrobe, such as installing pipe fittings on the wardrobe floor and fixing a toilet bowl, and applying moisture-proof paint to the floor. However, such renovations face multiple technical challenges: issues such as drainage slope, pipe concealment, and ventilation and dehumidification need to be solved, and at the same time, it may involve compliance reviews of building codes (such as whether the load-bearing structure is damaged). Due to the high technical threshold, such cases are mostly personalized attempts and have not yet formed standardized solutions.

Market Status and Precautions

Currently, there are related products such as "toilet sliding-door wardrobes" on the market, but most of them are toilet or wardrobe items with a sliding-door structure, rather than a complete "wardrobe mobile toilet" system. Some merchants offer customization services, and prices vary greatly depending on materials (such as aluminum alloy and solid wood) and specifications. For example, a merchant in Huizhou, Guangdong offers a spliced sliding door with a price starting at 450 yuan per square meter. When implementing such a design, the following points need to be noted:

  1. Plan the water supply and drainage pipes and ventilation system in advance to avoid rework later;
  2. Give priority to wardrobe materials with good moisture-proof performance (such as stainless steel and moisture-proof boards), or extend the service life through a wet-dry separation design;
  3. It is recommended to entrust a professional decoration company to evaluate the feasibility to ensure compliance with building safety and hygiene codes.
