Principle of Vehicle-mounted Mobile Toilet

Admin 22 de septiembre de 2026

The principle of a vehicle-mounted mobile toilet is to achieve the functions of excrement collection, treatment, and mobile use through the coordinated operation of the vehicle chassis, toilet unit, water storage tank, sewage treatment system, and power system.

Basic Composition and Working Logic

The vehicle-mounted mobile toilet uses the vehicle chassis as a mobile carrier, integrating a toilet unit, water storage tank, sewage tank, and auxiliary equipment. When in use, the independent compartment of the toilet unit provides privacy. The flushing system draws clean water from the water storage tank for flushing, and excrement and sewage flow through pipes into a dedicated sewage tank. Some high-end models adopt biodegradation or chemical treatment technologies, adding degradation bacteria agents or disinfectants to the sewage tank to decompose organic matter and suppress odors, reducing the environmental impact of direct discharge.

Core Technology Systems

  1. Collection and Storage System The core function is to seal and treat excrement to prevent odor diffusion. Mainstream technologies include vacuum fecal suction devices and chemical degradation technologies:
  • Vacuum Fecal Suction: A negative pressure pump creates a vacuum environment in the sewage tank, allowing excrement to be quickly sucked in and sealed for storage. This method has high treatment efficiency and low odor, commonly used in large vehicle-mounted toilets.
  • Chemical Degradation: Chemical agents are added to the sewage tank to decompose organic matter in feces, reducing the rate of decay. This is suitable for small or low-cost vehicle models.
  1. Water Treatment System Some high-end models are equipped with a water recycling device that purifies sewage into clean water suitable for re-flushing through multi-stage filtration (such as sand filtration and activated carbon filtration) and ultraviolet disinfection, achieving water resource recycling and significantly reducing the frequency of water tank refills.

  2. Power System The energy sources for driving the vacuum pump, agitator (used for chemical degradation), and automatic flushing device are of two types:

  • Vehicle Power: Directly utilizes the chassis engine to generate electricity, suitable for long-distance transportation scenarios.
  • Self-contained Battery: Provides independent power supply to ensure the equipment can operate normally even when the vehicle is turned off, commonly used in emergency or temporary use scenarios.

Design Optimization and Environmental Standards

The capacity of the sewage tank is usually designed according to daily usage needs (e.g., 200-500 liters) to avoid frequent cleaning. Engine emissions must comply with national environmental standards to reduce operational pollution. Some models also integrate exhaust purification devices to further reduce the environmental impact of exhaust emissions.

Through the coordination of the above systems, the vehicle-mounted mobile toilet achieves full-process management of "mobile use - sealed treatment - environmentally friendly discharge" and is widely used in tourist attractions, emergency rescue, large-scale events, and other scenarios.
