Vehicle-mounted Container House
The fixation of vehicle-mounted container houses requires the use of appropriate fixing devices and operation methods, with core points including selecting fixing devices, standardizing installation operations, and conducting regular inspections and maintenance.

I. Selecting Appropriate Fixing Devices
- Twist Locks: These tightly connect the corner fittings of containers to prevent horizontal movement. Their ends are often mushroom-shaped. After the container is hoisted onto the vehicle's load-bearing surface and the bottom corner fitting holes align with the installation positions of the twist locks, rotate the twist lock handles, generally fixing the lock heads at specified rotation angles such as 90 degrees or 70 degrees to keep the twist locks in a locked state. For lifting-type twist locks, first push the handles longitudinally to lift the lock heads into the inner cavities of the container's bottom corner fittings, and then rotate them to the specified angles to lock the corner fittings. Some twist locks with tightening devices can make the lock heads press down tightly against the bottom surfaces of the inner cavities of the corner fittings through rotation, effectively preventing the corner fittings from being lifted.
- Lashing Straps: These are wrapped around the container and connected to fixed points on the vehicle, providing longitudinal and transverse restraint forces. When using them, pay attention to the tightness of the wrapping and the stability of the connection points to ensure a snug fit and a firm and reliable connection with the vehicle's fixed points, preventing container displacement during transportation due to vehicle shaking and bumps.
- Stacking Cones: These are used to fix stacked containers, ensuring accurate placement positions and relative stability between containers, preventing misalignment and collisions due to shaking during transportation.
- Corner Post Fixing Devices: These can clamp the corner posts to enhance the fixing effect. Adjust them to an appropriate force to tightly clamp the corner posts, neither too loose to result in poor fixing effects nor too tight to damage the container's corner posts.
II. Standardizing Installation Operations Before operation, check the conditions of the vehicle and the container in advance and install the fixing devices according to the specified steps and torques. For example, when installing twist locks, ensure that the bottom corner fitting holes of the container accurately align with the installation positions of the twist locks; when wrapping the container with lashing straps, ensure a tight fit.
III. Conducting Regular Inspections and Maintenance During transportation, regularly inspect the conditions of the fixing devices and promptly repair or replace problematic devices. Since different fixing devices may become loose or damaged due to vibration and friction during transportation, regular inspections can promptly identify and address problems, ensuring the stability of the container during transportation, reducing the risk of accidents, and improving the safety and stability of transportation.
