Types of Mobile Toilets
Admin 20 de septiembre de 2026
Mobile toilets come in a variety of types, which can be classified into the following categories based on different criteria:

1. Classification by Structural Form
- Single-unit Mobile Toilets: Composed of a single independent unit, these toilets are compact and flexible to install, suitable for temporary venues with limited space, such as small outdoor events or construction sites.
- Composite-structure Mobile Toilets: Made up of multiple functional modules, these toilets are highly expandable and support the addition of facilities such as sinks and management rooms, commonly found at large exhibitions or long-term use scenarios.
2. Classification by Mobility Method
- Lifting and Handling Mobile Toilets: These rely on lifting equipment or manual handling, requiring no power unit, and are suitable for short-term, low-frequency mobility needs, such as temporary construction areas.
- Powered and Trailer-mounted Mobile Toilets: Equipped with engines or capable of connecting to towing vehicles, these toilets support autonomous movement or long-distance towing, suitable for scenarios requiring frequent relocation, such as music festivals or emergency rescue sites.
3. Classification by Sewage Treatment Method
- Flush and Non-flush Suction Mobile Toilets: These treat excreta through flushing or vacuum suction, requiring regular removal of fecal waste, with high hygiene standards, suitable for venues with strict environmental requirements.
- Recirculating Flush Mobile Toilets: These use biodegradation or physical filtration technology to purify sewage, enabling water recycling, with significant water-saving effects, commonly found in eco-tourism areas or water-scarce regions.
- Waterless Mobile Toilets: These utilize coverings such as sawdust or coconut coir to decompose excreta, requiring no water but needing regular replacement of fillers, suitable for arid or waterless environments.
- Foam-sealing Mobile Toilets: These cover excreta surfaces with foaming agents to form a sealing layer, suppressing odors and reducing flush water volume, suitable for cold or water-scarce regions.
4. Classification by Function and Technological Characteristics
- Basic Mobile Toilets: Equipped with basic facilities such as toilets and lighting, these are low-cost and suitable for short-term, low-traffic venues, such as small exhibitions.
- Flush Mobile Toilets: These include a flush system to enhance cleanliness, meeting the needs of high-traffic or high-hygiene standard venues, such as sports event sites.
- Eco-friendly Mobile Toilets: These adopt energy-saving technologies such as solar power and rainwater collection to reduce environmental impact, suitable for parks or nature reserves.
- Smart Mobile Toilets: These integrate functions such as automatic感应冲水 (automatic sensor flushing), temperature and humidity regulation, and air purification to enhance user experience, commonly found in high-end commercial areas or transportation hubs.
5. Classification by Application Scenario
These include temporary toilets for construction sites, scenic area and garden toilets, vehicle-mounted toilets, mobile toilets for emergency rescue and post-disaster reconstruction, mobile toilets to supplement urban public facilities, and special environment-adapted mobile toilets designed for high-temperature, severe-cold, or humid environments.
