Two-Story Prefabricated Assembled House
A two-story prefabricated assembled house is a building form that produces building components through industrialization and assembles them on-site. It features a short construction period, low pollution, and flexible design, and is currently being piloted and promoted in multiple locations.

Construction Method and Advantages
The core components (such as walls and floor slabs) of a two-story prefabricated assembled house are produced in a standardized manner in factories. High-precision molds and automated equipment ensure uniform component dimensions and stable quality. For example, in a case in rural Zhejiang, a two-story house with an area of 170 square meters can have its main structure erected in just 7 days. After the components are transported to the site, they are precisely spliced using high-strength bolts. Each wall has 9 embedded connection nodes, forming a stable frame structure. Compared with traditional construction, this 'LEGO-like' construction method significantly shortens the construction period while reducing on-site wet operations (such as concrete pouring), lowering dust and noise pollution, and aligning with the concept of green buildings.
Functionality and Exterior Design
Such houses offer flexible functional layouts to meet diverse needs. Taking the assembled villa by Changda Construction Technology as an example, the first floor adopts a semi-elevated design, adding a garage and a spacious entrance area, with an integrated living and dining-storage room. The second floor is planned with four bedrooms and one living room, and is equipped with a 30-square-meter outdoor terrace for leisurely viewing or planting flowers. The interior also reserves space for facilities such as a large bathtub, balancing practicality and comfort. Externally, prefabricated components support a variety of materials (such as imitation stone and wood grain) and color options, allowing for the simulation of traditional architectural styles or the realization of modern minimalist designs to suit different regional aesthetics.
Construction Experience and Industrial Promotion
The construction site is more akin to an industrial assembly process: prefabricated wall panels are precisely hoisted by cranes, and workers only need to complete details such as joint grouting and pipeline embedding, avoiding the dust and material waste of traditional construction sites. Currently, multiple pilot projects have been completed in places such as Ningjin County, Xingtai, Hebei Province, and Yanting County, Sichuan Province. Villagers who have moved in have provided positive feedback, and the scale of the pilots is gradually expanding. This model also drives the development of industrial chains such as prefabricated component production, logistics and transportation, and installation and construction, providing a replicable model for the industrialization of rural construction.
