Triple Container House

Admin 17 de septiembre de 2026

A triple container house is a three-story or similarly layered housing structure constructed by combining multiple containers, with some products customizable upon request.

Materials and Craftsmanship: Triple container houses are made from a variety of materials, commonly including steel structures, color-coated steel, and sandwich panels. The construction process primarily involves welding and assembling, which combine multiple containers into a stable whole.

Price Variations: The prices of triple container houses vary by region and manufacturer. For example, a three-story container mobile house in Tangshan, Hebei, costs 780.00 yuan per square meter, while a three-story packed container dormitory integrated house in Weifang, Shandong, is priced at 5,400.00 yuan per set. Additionally, there are standard mobile house employee dormitory packed container houses available for 13,800 yuan per set that can be built up to three stories. These price differences reflect market conditions across different manufacturers, configurations, and regions.

Structural Optimization: To address the issue of insufficient floor stiffness caused by the large spacing between longitudinal beams in the bottom frame of traditional containers, some manufacturers have adopted the method of installing C-shaped steel purlins between the bottom beams. This evenly distributes the load to the main beams, maintaining structural stability when the containers are stacked up to three stories. Additionally, shot blasting for rust removal followed by the application of zinc-rich primer and polyurethane topcoat on the container surface effectively extends the lifespan of the steel.

Thermal Insulation Performance: Triple container houses employ a bridge-cut lining structure, where hard polyurethane foam is filled between the steel frame and interior wall panels, and rubber thermal insulation pads are installed at the connections between the studs. This reduces the heat exchange efficiency between the interior and exterior of the container. Such treatment can keep the indoor temperature 8 to 10 degrees Celsius higher than the outside in winter without heating, reducing reliance on heating equipment and energy consumption.

Environmental Advantages: The core value of container houses lies in the full lifecycle recycling of materials. Compared to traditional mobile houses, container houses can be hoisted as a whole to a new site upon relocation or project completion, with disassembly and assembly loss rates controlled below 5%, significantly reducing construction waste. Moreover, their carbon emissions are much lower than those of one-time poured concrete temporary houses.
