Travel Mobile Toilet Project

Admin 05 de octubre de 2026

The travel mobile toilet project is a systematic endeavor centered around the design and application of mobile toilets, as well as the overall construction and management of tourist toilets, aiming to meet the sanitation needs of tourist venues and enhance the visitor experience.

I. Design Features of Mobile Toilets The core advantage of mobile toilets lies in their overall mobility, making them suitable for dynamic demand scenarios such as tourist attractions and temporary event venues. Their design needs to balance functionality and portability:

  1. Structural Composition: Comprising modules such as fecal sewage storage tanks, sanitary fixtures (e.g., squatting pans, urinals), and walls, the materials have been upgraded from traditional wood to lightweight, high-strength materials like fiberglass and polyethylene, offering both durability and environmental friendliness.
  2. Classification Methods: They can be classified by structure into single-unit and connected-unit types; by mobility into towed and self-propelled types; and by sewage treatment methods into packaged, water-flush, and microbial degradation types, allowing flexible selection based on the terrain of the scenic area, visitor flow, and environmental protection requirements.
  3. Human-Centered Design: For example, the mobile toilets in the Lanzhou Yellow River Scenic Area adhere to the principles of "lightweight, durable, and stable," with controlled height and width to facilitate transportation and installation. The four-squatting-position mobile toilet produced by Dezhou Hongtu Metal Products Co., Ltd. features a pointed roof design and is equipped with thermal insulation metal decorative panels on the exterior walls, balancing practicality and aesthetics.

II. Overall Construction and Management of Tourist Toilets Tourist toilets must not only fulfill basic sanitation functions but also harmonize with the scenic landscape and incorporate environmental protection technologies:

  1. Distribution and Planning: Mainly distributed in tourist attractions, transportation hubs, and other areas with high visitor activity, planning should consider visitor flow, terrain conditions, and visitor movement patterns.
  2. Application of Environmental Protection Technologies: Low-carbon technologies such as water-saving fixtures, solar power supply, and microbial degradation are adopted to reduce environmental impact. For instance, some mobile toilets achieve waterless operation through fecal packaging technology, reducing sewage discharge pressure.
  3. Policy Promotion: In 2015, China launched the "Toilet Revolution," setting targets for the construction and renovation of tourist toilets and revising relevant standards. From 2018 to 2019, a total of 52,600 tourist toilets were built nationwide, completing 89% of the new three-year plan's target tasks. In 2024, 74 national excellent cases were selected, covering directions such as standardized construction, smart management, and cultural theme innovation, driving the industry toward high-quality development.

III. Typical Project Cases

  1. Lanzhou Yellow River Scenic Area: The mobile toilets commissioned in 2023 emphasize mobility convenience and economic durability, achieving rapid deployment and flexible adjustment through optimized structural design and mobility devices.
  2. Four-Squatting-Position Mobile Toilet by Dezhou Hongtu Metal Products Co., Ltd.: Measuring 4 meters in length and 2.3 meters in width, it integrates male squatting positions, urinals, and sinks, with metal decorative panels on the exterior walls to enhance thermal insulation, suitable for scenic areas in cold northern regions.
