Transformation of Trash Bin into Mobile Toilet
A trash bin can be transformed into a mobile toilet. Through reasonable design and the utilization of relevant materials and tools, basic usage functions can be achieved.

Selection of Basic Transformation Materials
Typically, large used plastic bins or large plastic bins are chosen as the main body for the transformation. They have a certain volume and strength, capable of holding waste and meeting the structural requirements of the transformation. At the same time, auxiliary materials such as wooden boards, universal wheels, and aluminum-plastic panels are prepared. Wooden boards are used to make structural components like the mobile base, door frame, and door panel. Universal wheels facilitate the movement of the entire toilet, and aluminum-plastic panels can be used to extend and heighten the plastic bin, increasing the interior space.
Specific Transformation Steps
- Base Production: Cut the large plastic bin at an appropriate position (such as one-third from the top). Find a large wooden board and install four flexible universal wheels at the corners of the board. Use wooden strips to firmly clamp and fix the board to the bottom of the plastic bin, enabling the plastic bin to be stably placed on the board and movable.
- Door Frame and Door Production: Fix wooden strips around the plastic bin with screws. Use a cutting machine to cut out an opening for the toilet door and wrap the cut surface with wooden boards to form the door frame. Successively embed aluminum panels to increase the height of the frame. Process a door from wooden boards and fix the door to the door frame with screws using butt hinges.
- Improvement of the Interior Structure: Drill holes at an appropriate position beside the bottom of the plastic bin and connect and install a drainage pipe. Drill circular holes through the bottom of the interior of the bin, install and embed a lower elbow and a surface floor drain below for easy drainage. The wooden strips on the inner wall can be painted with white cement for beautification.
- Installation of the Water Supply System: Find a plastic bin and install a water pipe joint to form a water storage bin. Use PVC pipe joint fittings to make a showerhead and install a valve switch. Install the showerhead at an appropriate position, extend the water pipe, and install valve switches and tees. Connect and extend it to the position of the bottom plastic bin, dividing it into two groups to install nozzles and supply water to the toilet. Before installing the toilet, connect a PVC pipe from the middle of the bottom of the plastic bin to the septic tank. Separate a water pipe at the water inlet position for installing a washbasin.
- Overall Sealing and Fixing: Assemble and splice the toilet tank and fix it. Fill the edge gaps with adhesive to maintain sealing. Connect the necessary outdoor sewage pipes well until they are combined with the septic tank to ensure that the entire system does not leak water or gas.
