About Mobile Toilets
Mobile toilets are portable facilities designed to meet the toilet needs of temporary or fixed locations, featuring convenience, environmental friendliness, and versatility.

I. Basic Composition and Structure
Mobile toilets typically consist of fecal sewage storage tanks (or treatment devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. Their structural forms are divided into single-unit and composite structures: single-unit structures are independent units suitable for small-scale use; composite structures are composed of multiple units and can be expanded into large public toilets. In terms of mobility, they include hoisting and handling types (requiring lifting equipment assistance) and powered towing types (with built-in power or towable for movement).
II. Technical Classification and Sewage Treatment
According to sewage treatment methods, mobile toilets are classified into three types:
- Water-flush and non-water-flush suction types: These rely on external water sources or regular suction of excreta, suitable for locations with water supply.
- Recirculating water-flush types: Equipped with intermittent aerobic and anaerobic treatment devices, biological strains are added to accelerate decomposition. The treated water can be recycled for flushing, resulting in significant water savings.
- Dry-pack types: These have no water-flush devices; excreta is collected in biodegradable plastic bags, which are automatically replaced and collected for centralized treatment after use, suitable for water-scarce or high environmental protection requirement scenarios.
In addition, there are technical routes such as foam-sealing types (using foam to reduce odors) and microbial degradation types (decomposing excreta through microorganisms).
III. Core Features and Advantages
- Portability: They can be quickly deployed to locations such as stations, docks, tourist attractions, and construction sites to meet temporary or emergency needs.
- Environmental friendliness: Water-saving technologies (such as requiring only 0.46 liters of water per use) and biodegradable materials are used to reduce pollution emissions.
- Durability: The frames are welded from national standard steel, and the surfaces are covered with color-coated steel plates or anti-corrosion wood, with a service life exceeding 20 years.
- Intelligence: Some models are equipped with automatic flushing, ventilation and lighting, occupancy indicator lights, and other systems to enhance the user experience.
IV. Purchase Considerations
- Material quality: Prioritize galvanized square steel welded frames and environmentally friendly panel walls to ensure structural stability and recyclability.
- Sewage treatment technology: Choose water-flush, recirculating water, or dry-pack types based on the usage scenario; the latter two are recommended for water-scarce areas.
- Configuration requirements: Standard configurations include toilets, lighting, and ventilation; optional configurations such as air conditioners, air purifiers, and washbasins can enhance comfort.
- Portability: Confirm that the mobile devices (such as hoisting hooks and towing devices) are complete and suitable for transportation needs.
