Train Movable Toilet Door

Admin 26 de septiembre de 2026

Train movable toilet doors mainly fall into two categories: traditional manual doors and new induction doors, with different toilet door designs for various train models.

Comparison between Traditional and New Toilet Doors

Traditional train toilet doors require passengers to manually push and pull them. This design has obvious drawbacks. On one hand, frequent manual contact can easily lead to the growth of bacteria on the door, increasing the risk of disease transmission. On the other hand, traditional doors take up a relatively large amount of space, further compressing passengers' activity space in the narrow carriage environment.

The new induction-type toilet doors adopt advanced technology. They use infrared sensors or microwave radars to detect human movements and achieve automatic opening and closing. When a passenger approaches within a range of 30 centimeters, the door will silently slide open within 0.5 seconds, greatly reducing the risk of contact transmission. Moreover, the door body adopts a folding design. When opened, it is only 15 centimeters thick. Compared to the 25 centimeters of traditional doors, it frees up more space for the luggage area, optimizing the utilization of carriage space.

Challenges and Solutions in Technology Implementation

The promotion of new induction doors faces some challenges. Cost issue: A single set of the induction door system costs about 20,000 yuan, which is three times that of an ordinary door. However, in the long run, its waterproof and rust-proof properties can reduce maintenance costs by 60%, giving it a certain cost advantage overall. Fault response: The system has built-in dual safeguards. In case of a power outage, it can be manually pushed open to ensure normal passenger use. The sensor failure rate is less than 0.3 times per year (based on the operational data of German ICE trains), indicating high reliability. Special scenario adaptation: For extremely cold weather in the north, the door frame heating module can ensure normal operation at -30℃, and its power consumption is only 1/20 of that of the carriage air conditioner, effectively solving the usage problem in low-temperature environments.

Toilet Door Situations in Some Train Models

CR200J 'Fuxing' EMU Train: Each carriage has one ordinary toilet at both ends, equipped with either a toilet bowl or a squat toilet. The barrier-free toilets are located in carriages 4 and 13. They use electric doors, which are relatively convenient to operate. Press the round button outside the door to open/close the toilet door. After entering, press the inner button to close the toilet door, then turn the locking device. When finished using, first unlock the locking device and then press the door-opening button. Other trains: There are occupied/unoccupied lock public toilet door locks for movable toilets, suitable for toilets, train washrooms, movable toilets, etc. They come with keys, are made of aluminum, have the model Junke 1115, can be customized, and are sold in multiple regions including Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei.
