Mobile Installation of Toilet Water Heater

Admin 13 de octubre de 2026

The mobile installation of a toilet water heater can be carried out according to the following steps, with relevant precautions to be taken:

I. Preparation of Tools Before moving the water heater, prepare tools such as wrenches and ladders (since water heaters are usually installed at high places). Wrenches are used to disassemble fixed bolts and pipe connections, while ladders must be stable and tall enough to ensure that operators can safely reach the water heater.

II. Power Disconnection Electric water heaters use 220V AC power with a current of up to 16A, posing a risk of electric shock. It is essential to first turn off the main power switch or unplug the dedicated socket for the water heater and use a voltage tester to confirm that there is no electricity before proceeding with subsequent operations.

III. Water Disconnection and Drainage

  1. Close the inlet valve to cut off the water supply.
  2. Use a wrench to loosen the outlet (such as the showerhead connection or mixing valve) and completely drain the 50-60 liters of water stored inside the water heater. Place a container beneath the water heater to catch the water during drainage to prevent overflow.
  3. After no more water flows out from the outlet, briefly open the inlet valve for 1-2 seconds to flush out any residual water in the tank with the water flow, preventing blockages in the pipes from impurities.

IV. Dismantling the Water Heater

  1. Approach the water heater using a ladder and use a wrench to loosen the expansion bolts securing the bracket counterclockwise, then remove the water heater. If the bolts are severely rusted, spray rust remover to assist in disassembly.
  2. Check if the bracket can be disassembled. Most brackets are fixed to the wall with expansion bolts, and forced disassembly may damage the wall. It is recommended to retain the original bracket or have it evaluated by a professional for handling.

V. Installation at the New Location

  1. Bracket Fixation: Mark the drilling points at the new installation location and use an impact drill to install expansion bolts, ensuring that the bracket is level and secure.
  2. Water Heater Hoisting: Hang the water heater onto the bracket and tighten the bolts with a wrench, controlling the torque between 15-20N·m (refer to the product manual).
  3. Pipe Connection:
    • Inlet pipe: Install a pressure-reducing valve (if the water pressure is too high) and a check valve to prevent backflow of hot water.
    • Outlet pipe: Connect to the mixing valve, ensuring that the connection is well-sealed to prevent leaks.
  4. Water Filling and Power Connection:
    • Open the inlet valve and close it after the showerhead continuously discharges water for 1 minute to vent air from the tank.
    • Connect to the power supply, test whether the heating function works normally, and observe for any electric shock warnings (some models have electric shock protection indicator lights).

VI. Precautions

  1. Safety First: Non-professionals should not attempt the operation themselves. It is recommended to contact the brand's after-sales service or licensed electricians and plumbers.
  2. Space Adaptation: If semi-enclosed installation under a ceiling is adopted, confirm the heat resistance of the ceiling material (e.g., aluminum扣板 is better than PVC board) and reserve a maintenance opening.
  3. Regular Maintenance: For the first use after moving, it is recommended to lower the temperature (e.g., to 50°C) and run it for 2 hours to check for water leakage at pipe connections.
