The Toilet Sliding Door Is Tight
The tightness of the toilet sliding door may be caused by issues with the hinges, door frame, lock, sealing strip, or floor, and can be resolved through targeted solutions.

Hinge Issues: Loose hinge screws are a common cause, leading to misalignment of the door panel or inconsistent gaps between the door and frame, which in turn obstructs door movement. In this case, use a screwdriver to tighten the loose screws on the hinges. If the hinges are rusty, first tighten the screws and then spray with wire lubricant; if the rust is severe, it is advisable to replace them with stainless steel hinges. Additionally, improper hinge positioning can also cause the door to be tight. If the space between the door and the frame is too tight, remove the door (without removing the hinges), loosen the hinge screws, and move the hinges outward so that the hinge holes are closer to the side of the door that is tight against the screws; if the bottom of the door rubs against the floor, move the hinges upward.
Door Frame Deformation: Due to the humidity in the bathroom, wooden doors absorb moisture and expand, especially laminate and solid wood doors, which may rub against the door frame and make a clicking sound, making it difficult to move the door. You can turn on a dehumidifier to remove moisture and reduce the humidity in the bathroom. If the door edge is bulging, it is recommended to replace the door with a waterproof material, such as aluminum alloy or PVC; if the door frame deformation is not severe, you can use sandpaper to sand down the door edge slightly to restore the normal gap between the door and the frame.
Lock Issues: Rusty or stuck lock tongues or worn lock cores can affect the normal opening and closing of the door. You can spray some rust remover or sprinkle some pencil lead into the lock hole to provide lubrication. If the lock tongue is misaligned, gently tap the area around the lock hole with a hammer to align it. Additionally, a stuck security latch can also make the door movement tight. Open the door, remove the plastic cover from the recess, and loosen the wire slightly, being careful to apply force slowly to avoid getting it stuck and being unable to retract the housing.
Sealing Strip Issues: After a period of use, the sealing strip on the door may age and harden, causing a涩 (涩 here means rough or sticky) and tight feeling when closing the door. You can apply some lubricant to the door seam to reduce friction; if the sealing strip is severely aged, it is recommended to replace it with a new one.
Floor Issues: Uneven floor tiles can affect the smooth opening and closing of the door. Check the floor to ensure its flatness, and if there are any uneven areas, repair the floor accordingly.
