Movement of Toilet Radiator

Admin 01 de octubre de 2026

When moving the toilet radiator, careful handling is required from multiple aspects such as materials, testing, connections, impacts, the construction party, and placement methods. Specific precautions are as follows:

  1. Strictly control material selection
Before moving, check the anti-corrosion treatment of the pipes and radiator. Prioritize materials that have been anti-corrosion treated on both the inside and outside. If the radiator has defects such as sand holes or cracks, it must be replaced immediately. It is strictly prohibited to use radiators with quality hazards, as corrosion or rupture may lead to water leakage and pose safety risks.

  2. Pressure testing cannot be omitted
When workers replace the radiator, a valve should be reserved on the pipe. After installation, a pressure test must be carried out using a punching pump. The test pressure should reach the design standard and be continuously observed for more than 30 minutes. Only after confirming that there are no leaks can it be connected to the original heating pipe. Users should supervise the entire testing process to avoid water leakage in the later stage due to construction negligence.

  3. Seal the connection parts
The connection areas between the radiator and the pipes, as well as between radiators, are prone to water leakage. During construction, check whether rubber sealing rings are installed at the pipe connections. Ensure that the sealing rings are not aged or damaged, and use special clamps or thread locks to prevent interface loosening due to thermal expansion and contraction.

  4. Avoid affecting neighbors' heating
Before renovation, understand the operating principle of the thermal circulation system of the entire building. Do not arbitrarily change the direction of the main heating pipes or cut off public pipes. If the relocation position may affect the heating of other users, consult with the property management or heating company in advance to find a solution and avoid disrupting the heating balance of the entire building due to unauthorized renovation.

  5. Must be carried out by a professional company
Radiator installation involves complex processes such as pipe cutting, welding, and pressure testing. Non-professional operation may lead to system failure or property damage. Users should choose a qualified heating company and require construction personnel to show relevant certificates to ensure that the renovation complies with regulations.

  6. Standardize the placement method of the radiator
It is strictly prohibited to invert or horizontally place the radiator during relocation. For example, placing a tall radiator horizontally under a window will obstruct water circulation, reducing heat dissipation efficiency and even damaging the equipment. It should be installed according to the original design direction and maintain a safe distance from the wall and the ground for easy maintenance in the later stage.
