Toilet Old Mobile

Admin 20 de septiembre de 2026

"Toilet Old Mobile" may involve two situations: toilet relocation or the toilet itself wobbling, which need to be addressed based on the specific cause.

Toilet Relocation

If you need to adjust the position of the toilet, choose an appropriate method based on the relocation distance and bathroom structure:

  • Using a toilet relocation device: Suitable for short-distance relocation (generally no more than 10cm), connecting the original sewage pipe to the new sewage outlet through pipe fittings. However, it may affect the flushing effect, and ensure that the floor tiles are laid before installation for accurate measurement.
  • Raising the floor for relocation: Suitable for long-distance relocation or when the floor backfill layer is insufficient. Lay pipes to the new position and then raise the floor to bury the pipes, but this may cause inconvenience in use and aesthetic issues.
  • Creating a new hole for relocation: Requires the consent of the downstairs owner and sufficient space below the floor slab. Relocate by creating a new sewage outlet and connecting it to the original system, ensuring that the pipes are unobstructed to avoid blockages.
  • Switching to a rear-discharge toilet: The sewage pipe is arranged along the wall, suitable for long-distance relocation without wanting to raise the floor. Professional selection and installation are required to ensure safety.

Toilet Wobbling

If the toilet wobbles due to fixation issues, investigate and address the following causes:

  • Loose or worn fittings: Check the fixed fittings at the bottom of the toilet, tighten them if loose, and replace them if severely worn.
  • Uneven or damaged bottom: Use a level to check the flatness, place anti-slip pads at uneven spots or reinstall the toilet.
  • Improper installation: Reinstall strictly according to the instructions, ensuring it is firmly fixed in the designated position.
  • Seal ring issues: Turn off the water supply, disassemble the toilet, clean the old sealing material, replace with a new flange seal ring, and ensure the sewage outlet is aligned with the downpipe before use.
  • Loose base screws: Tighten the bolts on both sides alternately with a wrench, keeping them level to avoid cracking. Rubber gaskets can be added under the bolts to cushion the pressure.
  • Aged fittings: Replace the entire set with corrosion-resistant copper flanges, stainless steel bolts, and elastic rubber seal rings, and test the drainage smoothness.
  • Ground foundation issues: Chisel open the floor tiles to check the base layer, level it with cement mortar, and then relay the waterproof layer. In case of severe settlement, install a steel structure support frame.
  • Adhesive failure: After cleaning and drying the base, evenly apply neutral silicone sealant along the edge, smooth the joint, and avoid using it during curing.
