Toilet Mobile Light DIY

Admin 22 de septiembre de 2026

The DIY of toilet mobile lights can be achieved through the following three plans, with specific steps and materials as follows:

Plan 1: DIY Automatic Toilet Light Switch
This plan controls the light through door magnetic induction. The core components include a reed switch, an LM741 operational amplifier, a CD4017 counter, a 5V relay module, and a light. Implementation Principle: Fix the reed switch on the wall near the door frame and install a magnet on the door. When the door is opened, the reed switch triggers the circuit due to the change in the magnetic field. The LM741 operational amplifier amplifies the signal, the CD4017 counter controls the on-off of the relay module, and finally drives the light to turn on; when the door is closed, the circuit resets and the light turns off. Material List: It should include a BC558 PNP transistor, resistors, connecting wires, a mini breadboard, and a 5V power supply. Advantages: It has low cost and is responsive, suitable for nighttime use; Limitations: It requires a certain level of electronic knowledge, and the reed switch is susceptible to environmental interference.

Plan 2: Transform a Three-Yuan Toilet Flat Light into a Photography Fill Light
This focuses on the reuse of idle flat lights, with the core step being to replace the light source. Transformation Method: First, disassemble the flat light housing and retain the driver circuit; select a high color rendering index (RA≥85) eye-protection LED light panel as the new light source to ensure soft light; after removing the original light panel, fix the new light panel inside the housing and reconnect the driver circuit. Key Points: It is necessary to match the power of the light panel with the driver output to avoid overloading; the housing should retain the heat dissipation structure to prevent the LED from overheating. Applicable Scenarios: It is suitable for photography fill light in small spaces such as toilets. Advantages: It has low cost and good color rendering; Limitations: It requires manual switching and cannot sense automatically.

Plan 3: Homemade Toilet Infrared Sensor Light
This plan uses an infrared sensor module to achieve automatic lighting. The core components include an SR501 sensor template, a 5V piranha LED light panel, and a used mobile phone charger head. Assembly Steps: Install the SR501 into a food plastic bucket, drill a hole on the side wall to expose the sensor lens, and apply sealant inside the bucket for waterproofing; fix the LED light panel inside an emergency light head; modify the charger head circuit to control the on-off of the LED through an NPN transistor and lead out external wires; finally, place the charger head and the sensor module into the plastic bucket, connect the light head, and fix it on the ceiling. Advantages: It requires no wiring and is responsive; Limitations: The plastic bucket needs to be cleaned regularly, and the LED brightness is limited by the power supply.

Selection Suggestions: If you pursue automation and have electronic knowledge, Plan 1 is recommended; if you need low-cost photography fill light, Plan 2 is more suitable; if you hope to quickly achieve sensor lighting, Plan 3 is the best solution. Before implementation, ensure circuit safety to avoid short circuits or overloading.
