Mobile Exhaust Pipe for Toilets

Admin 07 de octubre de 2026

Whether a mobile exhaust pipe for toilets will emit odors depends on whether the exhaust pipe is broken and whether there is negative pressure in the pipe. If it is not broken and there is no negative pressure issue, it usually will not emit odors; otherwise, it may.

Exhaust Pipe Breakage

When moving the exhaust pipe for a toilet, if the operation does not cause the exhaust pipe to break, the sealing and integrity of the exhaust pipe can be guaranteed. In this case, the gas in the pipe can be discharged normally, and external odors and other unpleasant gases will not flow back into the room through the breakage, so there usually will not be an odor emission phenomenon. However, if the exhaust pipe is accidentally broken during the moving process, the sealing of the exhaust pipe will be compromised. At this time, the odors in the pipe may leak out from the breakage, leading to odor emission in the room.

Pipe Negative Pressure

When moving the exhaust pipe, it is also necessary to consider whether there is negative pressure in the pipe. If there is negative pressure in the pipe, this negative pressure will generate a suction force that pushes the odors from the main pipe back into the branch pipes. The branch pipes are connected to floor drains, toilets, etc., so the odors will return to the room through these locations, causing odor emission problems. For example, in some toilets with unreasonable ventilation designs or those that have been in use for a long time with aging and clogged pipes, negative pressure in the pipes is likely to occur, which may trigger odor emission when moving the exhaust pipe.

Exhaust Pipe Material Selection

To reduce the possibility of odor emission and other issues when moving the exhaust pipe, material selection is also crucial. It is recommended to use a thickened aluminum foil with spiral steel wire telescopic pipe. This type of exhaust pipe has good flexibility and strength and can withstand a certain amount of external force without easily deforming or breaking, thus ensuring the sealing and normal use of the exhaust pipe. Ordinary plastic pipes or low-quality aluminum foil pipes, on the other hand, have relatively poor strength and durability and are prone to deformation or even breakage under the influence of external force during the moving process. Once this happens, it may lead to odor emission, so they should be avoided.
