Mobile Commode for Home Use

Admin 24 de septiembre de 2026

Mobile commodes for home use are primarily suitable for groups such as the elderly with mobility issues and pregnant women, helping them solve toilet difficulties in environments like bedrooms.

I. Target Users and Core Functions The design purpose of mobile commodes is to provide convenience for those with limited mobility. For example, when the elderly face toilet difficulties due to joint degeneration and pregnant women due to abdominal protrusion, they can use them nearby in bedrooms, living rooms, and other settings, avoiding the risk of falls from frequent trips to the bathroom. Their core functions include:

  1. Enhanced Stability: They adopt enlarged and thickened bucket bodies or thick-legged structures, combined with anti-slip chassis designs, to reduce the probability of tipping over. For instance, some products are equipped with silicone anti-slip pads at the four bottom corners to enhance friction with the ground.
  2. Optimized Hygiene: The inner buckets are independently designed, and some products come with small basins for easy private part cleaning. The bucket body materials, such as ABS engineering resin, are added with antibacterial components, with smooth surfaces that are easy to clean, reducing bacterial growth.
  3. Humanized Details: They are equipped with auxiliary devices like armrests and backrests to facilitate users in getting up with support. The double-layer sealed design reduces odor diffusion, and the integrated structure is convenient for overall movement or cleaning.

II. Structural and Material Characteristics

  1. Material Selection: The main body mostly uses ABS engineering resin, which has characteristics such as impact resistance, corrosion resistance, and light weight, making it suitable for long-term use. Some high-end products add antibacterial additives to further enhance hygiene performance.
  2. Structural Design:
    • Bucket-type Structure: The upper and lower bucket bodies are connected by buckles, making installation convenient (e.g., for the H76 basic model, align the buckles and press down to fix), and the inner bucket is detachable for cleaning.
    • Thick-legged Structure: By widening the support legs to expand the contact area, it is suitable for uneven ground environments and has better stability than ordinary bucket-type structures.

III. Installation and Usage Precautions Taking the H76 basic model as an example, the installation process includes:

  1. Install the silicone anti-slip pads into the four bottom corners;
  2. Align the upper and lower bucket bodies and press down on the buckles;
  3. Install accessories such as the backrest, armrests, seat ring, cover plate, inner bucket, and tissue box in sequence. When using, regularly clean the inner bucket to avoid the accumulation of dirt. If equipped with armrests or backrests, check whether the fixing screws are loose to ensure safety.

IV. Purchase Recommendations Give priority to products that have passed national safety certifications. Pay attention to the bucket body's load-bearing capacity (recommended ≥100kg) and anti-slip performance test reports. Choose the seat ring width according to the user's body shape, and obese people should choose a widened model. If long-term use is required, consider products equipped with adjustable-height armrests or those with night light functions.
