Three Container House Designs

Admin 17 de septiembre de 2026

Here are the specific introductions to three container house designs:

Melbourne Split-Level Stacked Villa
This design utilizes three 40-foot containers stacked through a split-level interlocking structure. The two bottom containers overhang 1.5 meters front and back, creating shaded corridors; the top container is rotated 22.5° and placed diagonally, exposing 60% of its surface to sunlight, with a circular tree hole in the roof allowing trees to grow through, achieving a fusion of ecology and architecture. In terms of spatial design, the vaulted living room has its ceiling vertically cut open, paired with triangular trusses, achieving a 6-meter ceiling height; the stair steps conceal drawers, providing 14 square meters of storage space; the bedroom door opens directly to a suspended balcony, forming an 8 square meter starry sky theater. Regarding materials and aesthetics, the exterior facade uses nano-ceramic white paint for corrosion resistance, combined with charred wood grilles; indoors, the bar is cut from a quartz stone countertop, with exposed H-shaped steel beams contrasting with pure white magnesium oxide boards. In functional design, the kitchen refrigerator is embedded in the stair triangle area, the microwave is hidden in the bar drawer, with a one-meter integrated electromagnetic stove, double-slot dishwashing sink, and sliding breakfast bar; the bedroom bed has a hydraulic support that rises to become a desk, the floor-to-ceiling windows hide electric frosted film, and the roof features a skylight matrix; in terms of eco-technology, the solar skin generates an average of 40 kW·h of electricity per day, rainwater is purified through arterial systems, and the container interlayer is filled with paraffin-based phase change materials for temperature regulation.

New Jersey House-within-a-House Design
This design is constructed using recycled containers, incorporating smaller individual elements inside, similar to traditional house structures. In spatial design, through large glass sliding doors and interior house-like structures, the indoors and outdoors are combined, blurring the boundaries between them and enhancing spatial transparency. This design retains the industrial feel of containers while improving living comfort through optimized interior structures.

Wuhan Dongyuan Lejian City Sales Center
This design uses containers for construction, offering low cost and easy mobility. In spatial design, container modules are combined to form the sales office, with clear functional divisions and outstanding effects. Through modular combination, flexible spatial division is achieved, meeting the functional needs of the sales office while reflecting the convenience and economy of container architecture.
