Tangshan Container House Installation

Admin 16 de septiembre de 2026

The installation of container houses in Tangshan should follow scientific and standardized procedures to ensure structural stability and safety in use. The specific process is as follows:

1. Determine the Site and Foundation

Before installation, select a flat, dry, and well-drained site, avoiding low-lying or easily waterlogged areas. Clear obstacles such as debris and stones from the site to ensure there is no risk of ground settlement. Measure the site and plan the layout according to the size and load requirements of the container house. The type of foundation should be selected based on geological conditions and usage needs:

  • Steel foundation: Suitable for temporary or lightweight structures, with quick construction but requiring anti-corrosion treatment;
  • Concrete foundation: With strong load-bearing capacity, suitable for long-term use or installation of heavy equipment, requiring reserved embedded parts;
  • Wooden foundation: Only suitable for dry environments, requiring moisture-proof and anti-corrosion treatment.
    Foundation construction should ensure a horizontal error of no more than 5mm and reserve drainage slopes to prevent water infiltration.

2. On-site Adjustment and Inspection

Determine the installation direction and position of the container house according to the design drawings, and use a laser level or spirit level to calibrate the foundation levelness. Check the container body for deformation, cracks, or rust, paying special attention to load-bearing parts such as corner fittings and corrugated plates. If any damage is found, contact the manufacturer for repair or reinforcement. Also, check the smoothness of the container body surface to avoid peeling problems during subsequent decoration.

3. Erect Columns and Beams

Fix steel columns on the foundation at the designed spacing, using bolt connections or welding to ensure stability. The column bases should be in close contact with the embedded parts of the foundation. Then install crossbeams and longitudinal beams to form a frame structure. In this step, focus on checking the verticality and levelness, with an error controlled within 3mm/m to avoid deviations in subsequent installations.

4. Install Container Units

Containers are usually pre-processed (such as hole opening and reinforcement) in the factory. On-site, use a crane or forklift to transport them to the designated positions and connect them to the frame through corner fittings. When combining multiple units, use high-strength bolts to fix the corner fittings of adjacent containers and weld the seams to enhance integrity. Apply anti-rust paint to the connection points to prevent corrosion.

5. Install Roof and Exterior Wall Facilities

Install doors, windows, roof panels, skylights, and rainwater pipes according to the design requirements. Doors and windows should be filled with sealing strips to prevent air and water leakage; roof panels should be laid with waterproof membranes, with a slope of no less than 5% to ensure smooth drainage; rainwater pipes should be firmly fixed to avoid falling off. Finally, install exterior wall decorative panels or insulation layers to enhance aesthetics and thermal insulation performance.

Precautions: Wear safety protective equipment throughout the installation process to avoid falling objects from heights; suspend construction in case of strong winds, heavy rain, or other severe weather conditions; after completion, conduct load-bearing tests and airtightness inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
