Taizhou Container House Design

Admin 17 de septiembre de 2026

Taizhou container house design takes the standard container structure as the basic module, achieving different functional spaces through modular combination. The design covers various aspects such as structural materials, construction techniques, internal configurations, and safety adaptability.

I. Main Structure and Materials
Taizhou container houses primarily use steel as the main structural material, with a thickness typically ranging from 1.2 mm to 2 mm. An anti-rust coating is applied to the outer layer to extend the service life. For wall insulation, rock wool or glass wool is selected, offering both flame retardancy and thermal insulation properties, effectively coping with Taizhou's hot summers and cold, damp winters. The flooring materials include wear-resistant steel plates or composite wood floors, with a load-bearing capacity of 300 kg to 500 kg per square meter, meeting daily usage requirements.

II. Construction Process and Techniques
The construction process includes site leveling, container lifting, connection and fixation, and internal installation. First, the site is leveled to ensure a stable foundation. Then, prefabricated containers are lifted according to the design drawings and connected horizontally or vertically using high-strength bolts, with sealing strips applied at the joints for waterproofing. The internal electrical system uses flame-retardant wire conduits, complying with civil building electrical design standards, and water pipe installation is completed simultaneously to ensure safe and reliable water and electricity supply.

III. Internal Configurations and Spatial Layout
Basic configurations include lighting systems, switches, sockets, and ventilation windows, meeting fundamental living needs. Upgraded configurations can add air conditioning systems, independent bathrooms, and simple kitchens to enhance living comfort. The spatial layout can be either a single container for independent use or multiple containers combined. When combining containers, special attention is given to sealing the connections to prevent rainwater leakage and air infiltration, ensuring overall airtightness and watertightness.

IV. Safety and Adaptability Design
In terms of structural safety, the design is based on maritime container standards, offering excellent earthquake and wind resistance. After professional reinforcement, the structural strength can meet the needs of various scenarios, and the stability is significantly enhanced when multiple containers are connected to form an integrated structure. Regarding environmental adaptability, in response to frequent typhoons in Taizhou during summer, the number of anchor bolts is increased, and the wall materials are thickened. Given the high average annual precipitation, the roof drainage system is designed with a slope of no less than 5 degrees to prevent water accumulation. Due to the high salt content in the coastal air, the steel structure is treated with enhanced anti-corrosion coatings to slow down rusting and extend the service life of the house.
