Dimensions of Street Mobile Toilets
There are mainly two common types of internal dimension specifications for street mobile toilets:

1. Single-person Standard Type The internal dimensions typically range from 1.2 to 1.5 meters in length, 0.8 to 1.0 meters in width, and 2.2 to 2.4 meters in height. The core design principle of this specification is to maximize space utilization, making it suitable for space-constrained areas such as street corners and park corners. The length and width ranges can meet the basic toilet needs of adults, such as standing, turning around, and using squat or sit toilets. The height design takes into account both ventilation requirements and structural stability, avoiding internal oppression due to excessive low height or increased manufacturing costs due to excessive high height. Additionally, the modular design of this size facilitates transportation by small vehicles, making it suitable for temporary or mobile deployment scenarios.
2. Common Single-pit Specification The external dimensions range from 1.2 to 1.5 meters in length, 1.0 to 1.2 meters in width, and 2.2 to 2.5 meters in height. The focus of this specification is on balancing internal space and transportation convenience: the internal net dimensions must ensure that adults can comfortably complete toilet actions, while the external outline must comply with road transportation standards (e.g., a width not exceeding 2.5 meters to fit ordinary truck transportation). The height limit (2.5 meters) is set based on safety considerations to avoid scraping bridges, streetlights, or underground pipelines during transportation. Some models further reduce space occupation by optimizing internal layouts (e.g., using folding doors or embedded water storage devices), but the dimensions of core functional areas (such as toilets and sinks) must still comply with ergonomic standards.
Underlying Logic of Design Differences The differences between the two specifications stem from the needs of usage scenarios: the single-person standard type emphasizes “immediate usability” by minimizing dimensions to lower deployment thresholds; the single-pit specification needs to balance “functional completeness” and “transportation compliance,” resulting in slightly larger external dimensions but higher internal space utilization. When making a selection, it is necessary to comprehensively evaluate based on site conditions (such as available area and ground bearing capacity), usage frequency (such as daily average foot traffic), and budget. For example, high-traffic scenic spots are recommended to adopt the single-pit specification to reduce queuing, while temporary event venues can prioritize the single-person standard type to reduce costs.
