Steel Structure Container House Installation

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

The installation of steel structure container houses requires following core steps such as surveying and setting out, foundation construction, steel structure assembly, wall and roof panel installation, and installation of doors, windows, and ancillary facilities. At the same time, it must meet key requirements such as structural stability, installation accuracy, and concealed work acceptance.

I. Foundation Construction and Surveying and Setting Out

  1. Surveying and Setting Out: Strictly check the axis dimensions of the wall foundation to ensure that the deviation does not exceed ±25mm and the wall height deviation is ≤10mm, providing an accurate benchmark for subsequent steel structure installation.
  2. Foundation Construction: Select a brick foundation or concrete foundation according to the site conditions. When embedding the frame, use expansion screws for fixation to ensure the stability of the foundation. For example, Zhongnan Steel Structure requires digging trenches and laying the foundation first, and then embedding and fixing the frame.

II. Steel Structure Assembly and Installation

  1. Component Assembly:
    • Main components such as steel beams and steel columns need to be assembled on the ground, connected with screws or high-strength bolts, and checked for verticality and straightness. For example, portal frames need to be pre-accepted before leaving the factory, and deformed nodes need to be corrected during on-site assembly.
    • When assembling steel beams, if three-section columns need to be connected, horizontal assembly should be used to reduce the risk of high-altitude operations, and lifting devices should be used to calibrate the connection points.
  2. Lifting and Fixation:
    • For the installation of main beams, bundled serial lifting should be used, and 2-4 main beams should be lifted according to the design requirements; secondary beams and shear wall frame beams are usually lifted one by one.
    • Steel column installation can adopt the rotation method, sliding method, or transfer method. Heavy steel columns require dual-crane lifting. For example, steel columns in high-rise steel structures are usually lifted in sections of 2-4 floors and temporarily fixed after correcting the verticality.

III. Wall and Roof Panel Installation

  1. Wall Panel Installation: Reserve positions for doors and windows, ensure the flatness of the exterior wall, and then install the roof panel. After the roof panel installation is completed, priority should be given to handling the reserved roof works (such as waterproofing and pipeline embedding).
  2. Floor Installation: The splicing joints of the floor should coincide with the centerline of the π-shaped beam, with a nail spacing of 300-350mm, and PVC special floor adhesive should be used to treat the joints.

IV. Installation of Doors, Windows, and Ancillary Facilities

  1. Door and Window Installation: Ensure that they are tightly sealed without gaps. After window installation, waterproofing treatment should be carried out, and the doors should be kept straight.
  2. Railings and Stairs: Handrails and railing posts should be firmly connected. The stair treads should be made of steel plates or angle irons, and the floor should not shake.

V. Concealed Work and Acceptance

  1. Concealed Work: Including water and electricity installation, moisture-proofing, waterproofing, etc. Strictly check the construction techniques and material labels to avoid rework later. For example, if the waterproofing work is not done well, it may lead to economic losses and even safety hazards.
  2. Overall Acceptance: After the installation is completed, check the flatness of the roof and wall surfaces, whether the ridge lines and water-adding parts are in a straight line, and whether the connectors are firm.
