Steel Frame Container House Structure Diagram

Admin 17 de septiembre de 2026

Currently, there is no specific diagrammatic information on the structure diagram of steel-frame container houses, but relevant structural points of steel-structure houses can be provided for reference.

Structure of Residential Extended Container Houses: Its steel frame uses galvanized pipes as the main framework, combined with beams and columns in the middle rooms to provide a stable supporting structure for the house. The walls adopt sandwich-structured thermal insulation sandwich panels, which can effectively insulate heat and ensure relatively stable indoor temperatures. The floor employs a multi-layer structure, including a base plate, floor leather, and bottom cotton strips, which not only increases the comfort of the floor but also has certain heat preservation and moisture-proof effects. The roof is equipped with a ceiling and a thermal insulation layer, further enhancing the house's thermal insulation performance. The doors and windows use double-layer laminated glass, which has good sound insulation and thermal insulation effects while enhancing safety.

Key Points Related to the Structure Diagram of an 18-Story Steel-Structure Residential Building:

  • Structural Regularity: Steel-structure residential buildings are suitable for structures with regular plans and aligned steel columns in the X and Y directions. Such a design is conducive to improving the overall stability and seismic performance of the structure.
  • Connection between the Basement and Steel Columns: There is a connection structure between the steel columns in the basement and the concrete shear walls. For steel structures with a height exceeding 50m, it is advisable to use energy-dissipating braces such as eccentric braces and buckling-restrained braces. The diagram of this 18-story steel-structure residential building adopts eccentric braces. When setting up a basement, the vertically continuously arranged braces (seismic wall panels) in the frame-brace (seismic wall panel) structure should extend to the foundation; the steel frame columns should extend at least to the first underground floor, and their vertical loads should be directly transmitted to the foundation. In this diagram, concrete shear walls are set at the positions corresponding to the above-ground braces in the basement.
  • Beam-Column Joints: In the beam-column joints of the steel frame, corner braces are set on the lower flanges of the beams. Nowadays, for new steel-structure residential buildings, the method of setting vertical stiffeners at the beam ends is generally used to solve related issues according to the explanation in Article 8.3.3 of the "Code for Seismic Design of Buildings".
  • Floor Design: In the diagram, the floor is constructed by directly pouring concrete on the steel beams. Nowadays, with the mature development of steel truss plates, for the design of new projects of this type, detachable-base steel truss plates are preferred, which are exactly the same as cast-in-place concrete floors after construction.
  • Stair Design: In the diagram, the stairs are cast-in-place reinforced concrete stairs, and the stair columns and stair beams are made of steel.
  • Electrical Conduit Design: The diagram does not consider the opening positions and structural reinforcement when electrical conduits pass vertically through the steel beams. Attention should be paid to this in the design of similar projects.

Duplex Container Houses: They are usually formed by splicing three 40-foot container houses, with a spliced size of 11.8m * 6.75m * 2.8m, and are made of galvanized frames and color-steel sandwich panels.
