Standard Container House Production

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

The production of standard container houses requires attention to core aspects such as structural design, material selection, production processes, installation procedures, and compliance requirements:

1. Structural Design Container houses can be classified into welded integral containers and bolt-connected assembled containers. Welded containers are fully welded in the factory, with direct load paths and strong resistance to deformation, making them suitable for frequent lifting and movement. Bolt-connected assembled containers use standard plates connected by bolts, and it is essential to check the wall thickness of the steel columns and bottom beams (common specifications range from 1.5 to 3 millimeters). Thicker walls provide greater load-bearing capacity but also increase the self-weight.

2. Material Selection Steel materials must meet national standards, with wind resistance ratings of at least Grade 8 according to GB/T 19001, avoiding the use of thin steel frames (non-standard products only offer wind resistance of Grades 6-7). In terms of coating processes, hot-dip galvanizing provides longer corrosion resistance than cold-dip galvanizing, especially in areas with significant temperature differences between day and night and humidity variations. Fire resistance must be at least Grade B1, avoiding the use of flammable materials (non-standard products only have a fire rating of Grade C).

3. Production Processes Leading manufacturers use fully automated welding processes, with weld strength meeting the GB/T 19001-2016 standard to ensure overall wind and earthquake resistance. Some manufacturers innovate by using 6-millimeter steel plates bent into shape instead of heavy square tubes, saving on steel costs and reducing transportation expenses while enhancing the simplicity of the building facade and structural stability through container body welding and assembly.

4. Installation Procedures Ground preparation involves removing loose soil and debris and compacting the original soil layer. For long-term fixed use, a concrete strip foundation should be poured (width 30-50 centimeters, depth determined by the frost line). During lifting and positioning, ensure that all lifting points bear force simultaneously to avoid unilateral force causing container distortion. After placement, the horizontal error should be controlled within 2 millimeters per meter.

5. Compliance Requirements Products must pass fire performance tests and wind and earthquake resistance certifications, with export products requiring international certifications such as CE and ISO. In terms of environmental protection, the product's reusability rate must exceed 80%, avoiding the use of disposable materials. Manufacturers should establish a nationwide service network with a response time of no more than 24 hours, providing export compliance services such as customs clearance, certification, and overseas installation and commissioning.
