Squat-Type Mobile Toilet Installation

Admin 27 de septiembre de 2026

The installation method for squat-type mobile toilets should be selected based on the specific type and scenario. Common types include stainless steel waterless packaged squat toilets and pastoral-style mobile toilets, with the following installation points:

Installation Methods for Stainless Steel Waterless Packaged Squat Toilets

Stainless steel waterless packaged squat toilets come in two installation methods: floor-mounted and in-ground. Their core advantage is no need for sewage pipes, making them suitable for waterless areas, construction sites, scenic spots, etc.

  • Floor-mounted installation: Place the squat toilet directly on the ground and connect it to the ground using a bottom fixing device without digging a foundation pit. Ensure the ground is level during installation to avoid inconvenience in use or seal failure due to tilting.
  • In-ground installation: Dig a foundation pit that matches the size of the squat toilet on the ground, embed the device, and fix it with the top flush with the ground. This method saves more space, but attention should be paid to waterproofing the foundation pit to prevent groundwater infiltration from affecting the equipment's lifespan.
Both methods do not require connection to a water source or sewage pipes. They rely on packaging bags or fecal storage tanks to collect waste, which can be cleaned regularly. They are suitable for scenarios with scarce water resources or high mobility requirements.

Installation Points for Pastoral-Style Mobile Toilets

Pastoral-style mobile toilets are mainly designed with modular construction, making installation simple and quick. They come with complete internal sanitary ware and can be used immediately upon placement. Their core configurations include:

  • Independent toilet compartments: Usually equipped with squat toilets, flush tanks, exhaust fans, lighting fixtures, etc. Some models also include sinks or storage cabinets.
  • Installation process:
    1. Foundation preparation: Choose a level ground to ensure no shaking after placing the toilet compartment; if the ground is uneven, level it or adjust the support feet.
    2. Sanitary ware connection: Connect the flush tank to the squat toilet through pipes and check the seal; the exhaust fan and lighting fixtures need to be connected to the power supply, with attention to waterproofing.
    3. Function testing: After installation, test the flushing, ventilation, and lighting functions to ensure no water leakage or circuit faults.
Such toilets are suitable for scenic spots, parks, and other scenarios that require both aesthetics and practicality. The installation cycle is short, and they can be put into use quickly.

Precautions for Squat Toilet Installation and Floor Tiles

The installation timing of the squat toilet is closely related to the sequence of floor tile laying:

  • Installation after laying floor tiles: If the squat pit position has been reserved and the floor tiles have not covered the pit during laying, the squat toilet can be installed directly, without knocking out the floor tiles, only needing to adjust the height to be flush with the ground.
  • Installation of the pit before laying floor tiles: If the squat toilet pit position has not been reserved in advance, the squat toilet needs to be installed before laying the floor tiles, and then the edges are covered with floor tiles. If the position needs to be adjusted later, knocking out the floor tiles may be required, but this situation is rare. It is recommended to plan the layout in advance to avoid rework.

During installation, strictly follow the product manual to ensure sealability and stability, avoiding water leakage or safety hazards due to improper operation.
