Introduction to Square Mobile Toilets
Square mobile toilets are public facilities that can be moved as a whole and placed at fixed or temporary locations, primarily used to provide toilet services to the public, commonly found in public places such as squares.

Structure and Materials
Square mobile toilets adopt a frame-type structure. The main frame is welded from steel, with channel steel or I-beams used for reinforcement at the bottom. Square steel columns provide support, ensuring overall stability. The wall materials are diverse, including color-coated steel plates, metal carved panels, aluminum-plastic panels, and anti-corrosion wood, which meet the requirements for lightweight design while offering anti-corrosion and easy-to-clean properties. The frame design facilitates quick movement and installation using lifting equipment, adapting to temporary or long-term deployment needs in various scenarios.
Functional Types
Their environmental protection technology solutions cover three main types:
- Waterless Flush Type: No need to connect to water supply and drainage pipes. It achieves harmless treatment of feces through biological degradation or chemical treatment, suitable for water-scarce or temporary locations.
- Foam Sealing Type: Uses foaming agents to cover the surface of excreta, blocking odors and reducing flushing water volume, with significant water-saving effects.
- Water Flush Type: Requires connection to water supply and drainage pipes. Some products integrate rainwater collection and filtration systems or hand-washing water secondary flushing technology to further enhance water resource utilization.
Configuration and Design
Some high-end products are equipped with intelligent systems. For example, the bottom-layer PLC data acquisition system can monitor usage status in real-time, a 40-inch LED toilet stall monitor displays available stalls, and a 4G remote monitoring module supports mobile app control of lighting and flushing. Taking an economical and practical model as an example, its design includes 8 independent stalls, with a gray and white metal carved panel exterior. Separate entrances are provided for men's and women's toilets, and the front wall is equipped with sliding windows and stone wall lamps, balancing ventilation and lighting needs.
Application Scenarios
Suitable for densely populated areas such as squares, stations, docks, tourist attractions, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, and commercial streets. In squares, mobile toilets can be flexibly placed in prominent locations to ensure accessibility while being close to the urban drainage system for feces treatment.
Specifications and Standards
- Stall Ratio: It is advisable to have a ratio of 1:1 or 3:2 for men's and women's stalls (seated/squatting) to balance usage needs.
- Size Requirements: The size of squatting stalls for defecation is 1.00–1.20m × 0.85m–1.20m, and the size of urinal stalls (including basins) is 0.70m (depth) × 0.65m (width), with a spacing of 0.80m between independent urinals.
- Aisle Width: For single-row stalls with outward-opening doors, the aisle width is 1.30m; for double-row stalls, it is 1.50m; and for designs without doors, it is 1.20–1.50m.
- Supporting Facilities: At least one hand-washing basin should be provided in both men's and women's toilets, and additional basins can be added if there are more than 10 stalls. Each stall should be equipped with a corrosion-resistant hanging hook, and Chinese signs should be set up at entrances and exits.
