What are the Types of Special Mobile Toilets
Admin 28 de septiembre de 2026
Special mobile toilets come in a variety of types, which can be classified according to different criteria as follows:

Classification by Material:
- Plastic Toilets: Made primarily of high-strength plastic, they are lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and easy to clean, suitable for short-term events or temporary locations. Their structure is usually modular, facilitating quick assembly and disassembly.
- Color-Steel Toilets: Utilizing color-coated steel plates as the main structure, they combine the sturdiness of metal with rust resistance and a rich color palette. These toilets are commonly used in construction sites, exhibitions, and other scenarios requiring durability.
- Fiberglass-Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Toilets: Made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic, they are resistant to acids and alkalis, anti-aging, and have high strength, with a smooth surface that is easy to maintain. Their good sealing properties make them suitable for environments with high hygiene requirements.
- Tent-Style Toilets: Composed of waterproof tarpaulins and lightweight frames, they are low-cost and foldable, facilitating transportation and storage. They are typically used for outdoor emergencies or temporary events, but attention should be paid to wind resistance and stability.
Classification by Mobility Method:
- Lifting Type: Hoisted as a whole by lifting equipment, suitable for scenarios where the fixed position is frequently changed, such as construction sites or large event venues. Their structure is usually stable, but mobility depends on external machinery.
- Towing Type: Equipped with wheels or a towing device at the bottom, they can be moved by towing with a vehicle, offering high flexibility. These toilets are commonly found in tourist attractions, highway service areas, and other locations requiring long-distance relocation.
Classification by Sewage Treatment Method:
- Waterless Packaging Type: Uses biodegradable plastic bags to collect excrement, eliminating the need for water sources and sewage pipes, suitable for areas lacking water or sewage systems. However, the packaging bags need to be replaced regularly, and the treatment cost is relatively high.
- Traditional Water-Flushing Type: Flushes with water stored in a tank, requiring connection to water supply and drainage systems. It offers good hygiene conditions but consumes a large amount of water and relies on infrastructure, commonly used in urban temporary events or fixed locations.
- Foam Sealing Type: Uses a foaming agent mixed with a small amount of water to form foam that covers the toilet bowl, isolating odors and reducing flushing water volume, suitable for scenarios with water scarcity but requiring cleanliness.
- Microbial Degradation Type: Utilizes microorganisms to decompose excrement into harmless substances, eliminating the need for sewage discharge and offering high environmental protection. However, the equipment cost and maintenance requirements are relatively high, commonly used in eco-tourism areas or high-end events.
Designs for Specific Populations:
Products such as the Miaoxinshi Elderly Mobile Toilet (Squat to Sit Conversion) and Kangji Toilet Chair enhance stability and comfort through features like widened seats, anti-slip bases, and detachable toilet pans, facilitating use by the elderly, pregnant women, or individuals with mobility impairments, while also simplifying the cleaning process.
