Space Capsule Prefab House Installation

Admin 18 de septiembre de 2026

The installation methods for space capsule prefab houses are diverse, depending on the design type and requirements. Here are some common installation methods:

1. Modular On-site Assembly
Represented by the sailboat space capsule starry sky house, it adopts a modular design, making on-site assembly convenient and efficient. Its main structure is composed of 16mm PC panels and 6063 aviation aluminum profiles, requiring only five workers to complete the installation. The modular design divides the house into multiple standardized components, which are quickly assembled on-site using bolts or clips without the need for complex construction equipment. The PC panels provide high strength and light transmittance, while the aluminum profiles ensure structural stability, making it suitable for scenarios with high installation speed requirements, such as scenic area homestays or temporary living spaces.

2. Layered Wall Installation (ME Series Demountable Space Capsule)
The walls of the ME series space capsule have a total thickness of 260mm and adopt a 'sandwich' layered structure: two 80mm wall panels sandwich a 100mm frame hollow layer. The installation process is divided into five steps: chassis, frame, walls, pipelines, and interior decoration:

  • Chassis: Use hot-dip galvanized square tubes connected by bolts to form the foundation support;
  • Frame: Erect the columns and then add the top crossbeams to construct a stable structural system;
  • Walls: First install the interior wall panels for thermal insulation, and then fix the exterior wall panels to form an insulation layer;
  • Pipelines: Pre-embed electrical wires and water pipes in the wall sandwich layer to avoid exposure;
  • Decoration: Install anti-theft doors, polyurethane-sprayed exterior walls, aluminum alloy interior floors, and finally build personalized partitions.
    This method requires four workers with the assistance of a forklift to complete in four days, making it suitable for long-term residence or scenarios with high requirements for insulation and soundproofing.

3. Hot-dip Galvanized Steel Frame Main Structure Installation
Some space capsules use a hot-dip galvanized steel frame as the core. The installation steps include fixing the base frame, assembling the top structure, and leveling. During construction, key nodes are fixed by screwing, and a laser level is used to ensure the verticality and flatness of the structure. The galvanized treatment on the steel frame surface prevents rust and extends the service life, making it suitable for complex geological conditions or humid environments.

4. Overall Transportation and Rapid Installation
Space capsules made entirely of aluminum alloy support overall transportation and installation. After the house is fully decorated and the equipment is debugged in the factory, it is transported to the site and directly hoisted. Its thickened five-layer insulation materials (such as polyurethane and rock wool) and waterproof and fireproof design enable installation in just two hours without secondary construction. This type of house is 11.5 meters long and suitable for emergency housing, mobile offices, and other scenarios.
