Simple Small Mobile Toilet

Admin 22 de septiembre de 2026

There are mainly two simple ways to make a small mobile toilet:

Making with a water storage barrel: First, prepare a water storage barrel and use an angle grinder to split it in half. Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board for mobility. Then, use wooden strips and self-tapping screws to increase the height along the edges of the board to prepare for placing the upper half of the water storage barrel. Cut an opening at an appropriate position on the side of the barrel, install sponge strips to form a door frame, and embed plastic soft boards to create raised walls. Place the upper half of the barrel on top of the wooden strips as a roof. For aesthetic enhancement, apply white waterproof paint. Use foam strips to拼接 (assemble) discarded honeycomb wooden boards to make a simple door.

For indoor installations, cut an opening at the bottom of the barrel to install a drain pipe to form a floor drain. Cut holes on the side and bottom of the plastic barrel to install direct connectors. Place the plastic barrel on the roof as a small water storage device and connect it to a shower unit made of water pipes. Install a tee under the water inlet pipe and connect it to a showerhead. Place a toilet and install a water tank, securing it with glass glue. Connect the drain pipe to a sewage barrel. Horizontally connect a water pipe to the tee on the outlet pipe and extend it to the door as the water inlet pipe for a sink. Cut an opening on the door to install a connector and connect a hose.

Making with a water storage tank and a pallet: First, fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of a pallet and place a water storage tank recovered from a garbage station on the pallet. Use an angle grinder to cut along the marked line on the top of the tank to remove the top and form an open tank. Invert another open-top tank and stack it on the first one, securing the outer frames of the two tanks with self-tapping screws. Cut the outer frame and body of the tank to form an opening. Cut an opening on the internal floor of the tank, insert an elbow from the bottom upwards and connect it to a water pipe. Seal the gaps with glue and cut off the excess pipe. Align the toilet with the drain and secure it with glue. Fix a water pipe on the wall clips and install a faucet. Fix a pipe cap with screws under the faucet, connect the water pipe, and cut an opening at the bottom as a drain outlet. Cut an opening on the pipe cap, apply glass glue, and fix a sink made of a stainless steel basin. Connect the water inlet pipe to the toilet tank, connect the shower hose, and install a shower bracket and a toilet seat. Make a spray-type showerhead with a water pipe and install it. Finally, bring a wooden board, fix hinges on the frame of the water storage tank, and attach the other side of the hinges to the wooden board to form the door of the toilet. Install a door handle on the door.
