Weight of Single-Person Mobile Toilets

Admin 06 de octubre de 2026

The weight of single-person mobile toilets typically ranges from 100 kilograms to 3000 kilograms, depending on the material, size, and functional configuration. Here is an analysis of the weight ranges and suitable scenarios for different types of single-person mobile toilets:

Plastic-material single-person mobile toilets are the lightest, usually weighing between 100 and 500 kilograms. These toilets are mostly made of lightweight plastics such as high-density polyethylene (HDPE), with a simple structure and easy portability. Their advantages include low cost and easy installation, making them suitable for short-term use scenarios such as parks, small events, and temporary construction sites. Due to the limited weather resistance of plastic materials, long-term exposure to the outdoors may lead to a decrease in strength due to UV aging, so they are more recommended for use in mild climates or shaded environments.

Steel-structure single-person mobile toilets are heavier, with a weight range of 1000 to 3000 kilograms. These toilets use galvanized steel pipes or stainless steel as frames, covered with metal sheets or anti-rust coatings, providing extremely high structural strength and impact resistance. Their weight mainly comes from the thick metal frames and reinforced designs, enabling them to withstand high foot traffic and frequent relocation, making them common in construction sites, large exhibitions, music festivals, and other places requiring long-term stable use. Additionally, steel-structure toilets can expand their functions by adding partitions or equipment, such as air conditioning and ventilation systems, further increasing their weight.

Fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP)-material single-person mobile toilets have a weight between that of plastic and steel structures, approximately 500 to 1500 kilograms. FRP is a composite material that combines the strength of glass fibers with the corrosion resistance of resins, making these toilets both durable like metal structures and lighter than steel structures. Their smooth surfaces are easy to clean and resistant to acid and alkali corrosion, making them suitable for scenic spots, city streets, and other places with high aesthetic and hygiene requirements. Some FRP toilets also adopt modular designs, allowing for quick installation and disassembly through splicing and combination.

For small single-person mobile toilets (with sewage storage tanks) used in rural areas or households, the weight is usually between 150 and 200 kilograms. These toilets prioritize practicality, using lightweight materials (such as plastics or thin metal sheets) and equipped with movable sewage storage tanks for easy regular cleaning. They occupy a small area (about 1 to 1.5 square meters) and are lightweight, suitable for courtyards, farmland, and other places with limited space and no need for frequent relocation. Some products further reduce weight and enhance portability by optimizing structural designs (such as reducing unnecessary accessories).
