Simple Portable Toilet
A simple portable toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides public toilet services.

I. Basic Components A simple portable toilet generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and moving device. These components work together to ensure the basic functions of the toilet are realized, such as the storage or treatment of feces, the provision of water for hand washing, and the protection of users' privacy.
II. Classification Methods
- By structural form: They can be divided into single-structure portable toilets and composite-structure portable toilets. The single-structure type is relatively simple and highly independent; the composite-structure type may be composed of multiple parts and may have more complex and diverse functions.
- By moving method: They are classified into lifting and handling portable toilets, and powered and towed portable toilets. Lifting and handling types are suitable for short-distance and small-scale movements; powered and towed types are more suitable for long-distance and large-scale transportation and movement.
- By sewage treatment method: They are divided into water-flush and waterless suction portable toilets, circulating water-flush portable toilets, and dry-packing portable toilets. The water-flush type has a better cleaning effect but requires a sufficient water source; the waterless suction type treats feces through suction and is suitable for water-scarce areas; the circulating water-flush type can realize the recycling of water resources; the dry-packing type packs feces for easy subsequent cleaning.
III. Usage Characteristics Take a simple toilet as an example. It is probably about one square meter in size, with a squatting pan and a hand-washing faucet. There are two black balls below. After using the toilet, stepping on one of the black balls will automatically flush the squatting pan, and stepping on the other black ball will make the faucet produce water for hand washing. Moreover, the toilet door has a bolt. When the bolt is pulled up, it will show that someone is inside; when it is pulled down, it will show that it is unoccupied. The operation is simple and convenient.
IV. Suitable Places Simple portable toilets have the advantages of being movable, combinable, and easy to transport. They are suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets, etc., and can meet people's toilet needs in different scenarios.
